BTS' Kim Seok-jin visited his alma mater and engaged with high school kids in the most recent episode of RUN JIN. Several students from other institutions also gathered outside the school and roared for him as soon as he got out of his car. It is important to note that this episode was filmed on July 8, 2024, and was finally released on August 20, 2024, on BANGTANTV (YouTube).

RUN JIN episode 2 was chaotic and yet showed wholesome moments on the most recent episode of the audience-focused Korean variety program. After entering the Boseong Boys High School (aka Posung High School), Jin headed to the canteen to check if his preferred food items were still being sold.

He ordered a few items and took out his black card to pay for those, however, the canteen owner refused to take the payment. The BTS idol then met his homeroom teacher, who has been promoted as the Vice Principal of Posung High School. Jin tried to recall the teacher's name but failed since it has been more than 15 years since he graduated from this school.

RUN JIN episode 2 and Kim Seok-jin's hilarious moments with the school boys

In RUN JIN episode 2, BTS' Jin entered one of the classrooms and introduced himself as the only 33-year-old high school student. Immediately, he asked who among the class students was the best fighter, and the boys told him that it was the class president. This was a humorous reference to high school cultures globally when a freshman would try to start a fight.

He took a seat as the teacher continued with his lecture on Korean grammar. Jin enquired if there was anyone among the class who was good at singing. He added that he will speak to his company, HYBE, if the student is a good singer. However, the boys were too shy to sing aloud in front of the superstar.

After the lecture was over, Jin asked them for an arm wrestling session before lunch. The students laughed and referred to the idol as the alpha. Jin arm-wrestled with a couple of boys to test whether he was the best of them all. Interestingly, during the arm wrestling tournament, he made a point of avoiding all the strong boys in the class and would constantly make jokes about losing to them if he faced them.

As soon as the class ended, Jin headed to the canteen with the class president and two other boys. They told the BTS idol how students from eight other schools gathered outside Posung High School after they learned about Jin's arrival. They also joked if Jin used a pager when he was in high school, to which Jin hilariously yelled at them, saying that he isn't that old.

They headed to the gym for the physical education class after having lunch together in the school canteen. The first-year high school kids and BTS' Jin engaged in several games. He had to battle against 26 boys from Grade 1-(6 level), who didn't go easy on the idol.

They participated in the Chicken Foot game, push-ups, and planks. The musician did not win the plank or push-up contests, but he did win the chicken foot game.

Amid the "Guess the Song" game, Jin from BTS was unable to reach the podium to answer the questions because the high school boys obstructed his path. Every time the kids were asked to predict the song, they would playfully shove Jin to one side, making the RUN JIN episode more hilarious and engaging by the minute.

In the final scene of RUN JIN episode 2, Jin played dodgeball with the boys, who kept hitting the idol with the ball in full force. Jin attempted to sidestep them as they launched themselves at him with all of their might. The idol responded with a joke about playing seriously to win, raising the bar of the competition.

In the last game of RUN JIN episode 2, the musician played catch against a team of four students. The musician used amusing strategies right from the start of the game, pushing someone off the jogging track, tossing their shoes in the other direction, and also cheating.

The other kids laughed even harder at this and attempted to obstruct Jin's game plan. The high school student team was declared the only victor of the competition overall, whereas the BTS idol lost the final match. Jin treated the 26 boys with pizzas and thanked them for spending the day with him playing games.

RUN JIN will release episode 3 on August 27, 2024, on BANGTANTV, and showcase BTS' Kim Seok-jin at a PC Café, serving kids and having fun.
