On Tuesday, September 10, the fifth episode of BTS Jin’s ongoing variety series Run Jin was released on BANGTAN TV's YouTube channel. The latest episode was the continuation of the fourth episode, and it was titled A Dangerous Invitation from Jin 2.

Episode 5 of Run Jin featured the same guests from the preceding episode. There were four participants invited for the fun challenges by Jin, to engage in games with him. The first participant was Kim Dong-hyun, also known as Stun Gun, a former UFC fighter.

The second participant was the renowned travel YouTuber Kwak Joon-bin, whose channel is known as 'Kwak Tube'. Lastly, the third guest was the renowned K-pop singer from TXT, Choi Yeonjun. The duration of this episode was around 24 minutes.

3 games showcased in Run Jin episode 5

The episode commenced with a greeting of the four players. The second segment of Run Jin’s Dangerous Invitation featured three activities that participants engaged in with considerable enthusiasm and playfulness.

In the first game of this episode, the contestants engaged in a discussion on themes provided by the crew. However, simultaneously they had to refrain from using forbidden phrases and engaging in forbidden actions, selected by the crew for each participant.

Each player must learn about their specific prohibited actions and words. When the players unintentionally utilized their forbidden actions and words, the waterfall system unleashed a torrent, or their flying seats propelled them into the swimming pool. Kwak Tube performed well at this game towards the end, strategically persuading other participants to use their forbidden words.

The 'Four Syllable Quiz' was the next game. In this game, players filled in the missing words provided by the crew. Players who gave incorrect responses were propelled into the water by a flying chair. All players eventually fell into the pool due to their incorrect answers.

Kwak Joon-bin proposed that the show's title should be 'Fly Jin' instead of 'Run Jin,' as the participants plunged into the pool repeatedly due to their incorrect responses.

The episode's final game was "Consonant Quiz." In this game, participants receive consonants and attempt to determine appropriate words using them. Once again, individuals who made incorrect guesses fell into the pool.

Each participant faced specific forbidden actions as they advanced through the last game. When the players did something they shouldn't, the waterfall machine started pouring water on them.

Compared to the first part of Dangerous Invitation, where flying chairs weren't used, the second part added a sense of 'danger' in the games, as they would get propelled by the chair unexpectedly.

A sneak peek at next week's episode was shown at the end of the latest episode. A famous K-drama actor, Lee Yi-kyung, was shown playing tennis with Jin in the preview. BTS’ Jin appears to be rather close with the Welcome to Waikiki actor. Episode 6 of Run Jin is set to release on September 17.

In June 2024, BTS' Jin was discharged from obligatory military service. Following this, the idol has been busy with numerous endeavors, including Run Jin and his appearance as a guest in a variety show, Half-Star Hotel In Lost Island, and others.
