On September 17, 2024, BIGHIT MUSIC dropped the latest episode of RUN JIN on BTS' official YouTube channel, BANGTANTV. Episode 6 saw the arrival of popular South Korean actor Lee Yi-kyung, well-known for his hit dramas Marry My Husband, Welcome To Waikiki, and more.
The Epiphany singer-songwriter welcomed Lee Yi-kyung, sharing that they had been friends for over a decade since Jin was a 19-year-old high school student. The BTS singer added that they both used to go to the same acting school and had been friends with the Marry My Husband actor since then.
The duo's 17-year-long friendship was evident right from the start of the episode, as Jin bantered with Yi-kyung about the latter not watching a single episode of Run BTS!, while the BTS idol himself fell into the trap by naming Youth Over Flowers as Lee Yi-kyung's show.

The rest of the episode was full of Jin and Yi-kyung bickering with each other for missing a point while playing tennis, and celebrating whenever they won points against two kid tennis players. Episode 6 had both hilarious and chaotic bits, like when Jin was hilariously beefing with the kids after they chose Jungkook as their favorite BTS idol.
RUN JIN episode 6: BTS' Jin kept the humor high while Lee Yi-kyung's appearance added more fun
The latest episode of RUN JIN focused on the BTS idol's love for tennis, however, as part of the show's script, he was unaware of the guest and the game segments selected for the episode. The first segment was about the two celebrities practicing tennis as per the coach's instructions.
The coach handed the K-pop idol and Lee Yi-kyung a box full of gear to choose their choice of racquets, as it was filled with a frying pan, a wooden spatula, a grill plate, and more kitchenware that could be used to hit the ball. Laughter broke out on the tennis court as the BTS member was baffled, trying to figure out how to play the game using those items.
While playing, Jin hit Lee Yi-kyung with the tennis ball twice on his knees. The Marry My Husband actor immediately pretended to fall as if he was shot by a bullet, calling it an "assassination attempt." The duo's antics continued adding more laughter to the episode.
For the second segment, they were joined by two children, aged 11 and 12, who have been professionally playing tennis for over six years. While playing, Jin kept up his antics, celebrating and teasing the kids whenever he and Lee Yi-kyung got points.
This further triggered the kids, and they vowed to finish the BTS idol and Lee Yi-kyung with a 7-0 score. However, when Lee Yi-kyung requested them to award the singer-actor duo with two game points, the kids agreed. The BTS idol was confident and hilariously kept making fun that he will win. Jin and Lee Yi-kyung played two matches with the kids, losing both by a huge margin.
Episode 6 of the show ended with Lee Yi-kyung and the BTS member competing against each other to shoot tennis balls at a board full of numbers, as whoever could hit the numbers vertically, horizontally, or diagonally three times in a row, could go home first, while the loser would have to continue hitting till he makes it.
Lee Yi-kyung won and The Astronaut singer hilariously confessed to playing dirty by using tricks but still losing to the actor.
