The eighth episode of RUN JIN started by welcoming Kim Seokjin and Jee Seok-jin. In contrast to the previous episode, the latest one involved more physical activity for the two men. Both celebrities prepared themselves for the name-tag race.

In this race, both the contenders had to find the most number of real Seokjins. This game involved around 50 NPCs (non-player characters), who were the other Seokjins. These NPCs had tags on their backs. Both the players had to chase them and find their respective name tags, Kim Seokjin and Jee Seok-jin.

The twist of the game was that if they found an ‘it’ card, 3 people who were ‘it’ members could tag them and put them in prison. In the prison, they had to complete prison challenges.

To start with the game, both had to pick one envelope as part of the game of luck. Jin got lucky as he chose the one with the number 10, which meant that he had to find 5 people with the correct name tags out of 10 people, to go home first.

Jee Seok-jin, on the other hand, had only five name tags, and he had to find all of them to win.

After listening to the rules, Jee Seok-jin said that he could easily beat Jin. In response, Jin started to flaunt his biceps, and they engaged in a humorous arm wrestling match, which Jin ultimately won.

Following this, they started with their game. All the other Seokjins entered the game and then dispersed throughout different floors of the museum building. One of the key highlights was when Jin asked one of the 'it' individuals what their profession was. The person hilariously responded, "Just took my first steps yesterday," which surprised both of them.

Both players started to run behind the other Seokjins to find their tags in the first round of 20 minutes. In the first round, Kim Seokjin found two tags of his name and two tags of Jee Seok-jin. However, he hid Jee Seok-jin’s name tag in the corner. In between the chase game, BTS' Jin even lured other Seokjins to play rock, paper, and scissors to catch them.

Finally, both participants were taken to the prison as they got the ‘It’ card. They pulled out one slip in the prison to find out their prison challenge, the duration of which was three minutes. Their first prison challenge was 'Shoe Throw,' which required them to throw their footwear into a basket from a distance.

Jee Seok-jin and BTS' Jin both played this challenge. Jin completed it first and came out of prison to continue with his race. Meanwhile, Jee Seok-jin continued with his prison challenge.

While catching more Seokjins, Jin encountered his first ‘It’ card. In the meantime, Jee Seok-jin completed his prison challenge, and as soon as he got out, another "It" member tagged him. Once again, Kim Seokjin and Jee Seok-jin ended up in prison.

This time, they did the bottle flip challenge. They quickly finished this challenge, and while leaving the prison, Jee Seok-jin convinced BTS' Jin for the joint attack on other Seokjins. They decided to exchange each other’s name tags whenever they found them. Little did Jee Seok-jin know that Jin already had two tags of his name. Soon, the first round of the race ended.

In the first round, Jee Seok-jin found none of his tags, while Kim Seokjin found two tags for each name. For their progress review, both participants came to the lobby and played another blow-the-ball challenge. Jee Seok-jin won this challenge and got a chance card.

The second round of the race then started. Jin luring other Seokjins with 100,000 KRW to catch them was another key highlight. One of them accepted the offer and soon came to Jin. Jee Seok-jin caught that one and found Kim Seokjin’s tag. It was then BTS' Jin offered him to exchange Jee Seok-jin's tag that he hid in the corner in the first round. They both agreed.

Following this, Jee Seok-jin decided to use his chance card. When the chance card was used, other Seokjins with Jee Seok-jin’s name tag stopped for 20 seconds. Jee Seok-jin went to the second floor and used this card to his advantage. Luckily, he found two tags using this card.

Kim Seokjin, on the other side, took Jee Seok-jin’s hidden tags with him. Exhausted, Jin engaged in power walking to pursue further Seokjins, ultimately discovering another tag bearing his name. He then exchanged one Jee Seok-jin tag for his tag. Now, he had a total of 4 tags, and Jee Seok-jin had 3.

They again continued with their chasing for the last ten minutes of the second round. BTS' Jin finally found his fifth tag after a few more attempts.

He was ready to go home after winning this game. In order to get home, Jee Seok-jin completed another task after losing the name tag race. The Squid Game-style Dalgona coffee challenge was handed to him. Jin took a few selfies with Jee Seok-jin before they left.

At the end of RUN JIN episode 8, Kim Seokjin was seen giving his autograph to another Seokjin, whom he promised to give 100,000 KRW in exchange for his tag.

The next episode of BTS' Jin’s RUN JIN will be released on Tuesday, October 8 via the YouTube channel of BANGTAN TV.
