"She owns this look" — Internet in frenzy as BTS' j-hope's sister Jiwoo posts a picture of her in an Indian outfit on Instagram

BTS ARMY was abuzz recently when Jung Jiwoo, the elder sister of BTS’ j-hope (Jung Hoseok), shared new photos of herself in an Indian outfit on Instagram on December 15, 2024. As per her post, Jiwoo seemingly traveled to India to promote her skincare brand, Neaf Neaf in Delhi. The pictures quickly went viral, with fans expressing admiration for her cultural appreciation.

For the unversed, Jung Jiwoo is a well-known South Korean entrepreneur, influencer, and content creator. She is the CEO of her fashion brand AJ Look and eyewear company Fun the Mental. Alongside her entrepreneurial ventures, She has over 10.5 million Instagram followers and a strong YouTube presence, where she shares lifestyle and fashion content.

This incident also highlighted the immense curiosity and love the BTS fandom has for the members' families. Fans lavish praise on her for wearing an Indian salwaar-suit and appreciating the country's traditional attires. One fan wrote:

j-hope enlisted for mandatory military service in South Korea on April 18, 2023, as the second BTS member to fulfill his duty following bandmate, Kim Seok-jin. After completing his basic training in Gangwon Province, he transitioned to active duty. He was discharged on October 17, 2024.

After being discharged from the military, j-hope made headlines for attending the KBO League Korean Series game on October 24, 2024, where the Kia Tiger went against Samsung Lions. BTS' j-hope threw the first ceremonial pitch to commence the game.
