BLACKPINK's Jennie posted congratulatory Instagram stories following the release of BLACKPINK's Rosé's first full-length album, Rosie. In one story, she mentioned the infamous kissing scene from the toxic till the end music video where Rosé shares a kiss with Evan Mock, a model/actor who portrayed the singer's ex. She captioned the story "the kiss..." and added a link to the music video.

Such a reaction from a BLACKPINK member sent the internet into a frenzy, as many were surprised to see Jennie reacting to the kissing scene in the same way fans did. A BLINK shared:

"the kiss..." SHE'S JUST LIKE US"
"SAME THOUGHTS WHEN I WAS WATCHING!!!" a fan reiterated.
"jennie representing us," a netizen said.

BLACKPINK's fandom, known as BLINK, also wondered how much the other three members would tease Rosé for the kissing scene. One fan even shared a video from the Playing With Fire era when BLACKPINK members teased the APT. singer for a hug scene with a male actor. The fan said:

"can't imagine how noisy their gc is after the mv was released"
"For sure they will teased rose about that kiss HAHAHAHAH," - a fan predicted.
"I JUST KNOW LISA & JISOO BULLIED THE SH*T OUT OF HER FOR THAT," a BLINK mentioned.

In another Instagram story, the Mantra singer mentioned how proud she was of Rosé's "heartbreaking" yet warm album. Jennie signed off her comment referencing the 3am singer's pre-released song Number One Girl. She said:

i’m soooooooo proud of you Rosie. your album is so heartbreaking, beautiful, and warm, makes me miss you very much. cant wait for world to hear your album. love you - your number one girl"

Fans swooned over this supportive gesture by Jennie and remarked:

"that's family," - an X user said.
"they can never make me hate you, jennie. this girl has the most beautiful soul ever and always supportive," a fan stated.

Netizens also mentioned how she has been liking and commenting on various posts uploaded by Rosé in association with her new album Rosie. The You & Me singer also used a b-side, two years from Rosie, as the background music for one of her stories.

BLACKPINK's Rosé clears a lyric from her newly released song toxic till the end

BLACKPINK's Rosé remarked that the biggest inspiration behind her album, Rosie, stemmed from the upheavals she suffered during her romantic relationships in her 20s. One of the verses in toxic till the end depicts a moment when her ex took away her Tiffany rings and never returned them. The lyrics go like this:

"I can't forgive you for a lot of things, For not giving me back my Tiffany rings. I'll never forgive you for one thing my dear, you wasted my prettiest years."

However, in a recently released interview with Hits Radio UK, she cleared the lyrics by saying that they were more metaphorical than literal, reflecting her personal experiences. She concluded the statement by noting that the song represented toxic relationships that everyone goes through.

In the same interview, Rosé also talked about being friends with pop star Taylor Swift. When asked how it felt to have met and exchanged numbers with Taylor Swift, she responded that it was her "biggest flex." She remarked:

"I feel like a bit embarrassed because I feel like I'm going around bragging about it. (...) I mean it is my biggest flex but I feel like I 'm bragging about it too much..."

Rosé released her first full-length album, Rosie, on December 6, 2024, along with the two pre-released songs Number One Girl and APT. featuring Bruno Mars. The album has a total of 12 songs, including dance all night, too bad for us, gameboy, not the same, and more.
