On Monday, November 4, 2024, HITS Daily Double credited BTS member Park Jimin's single, WHO, as the sole reason for HYBE to enter the Top 10 on this week's Hits List. Dated November 4 to 9, 2024, the K-pop juggernaut ranked at No. 8 on the curated list published by the American music industry trade publication.

For the unversed, HITS Daily Double is the most successful tip sheet in the music world and a music industry trade publication. It features exclusive content on weekly sales and airplay data, new artists, charts, music ranking, and more.

WHO was released on July 19, 2024, as the lead single from Jimin's second solo record titled MUSE. The album was pre-recorded by the K-pop idol ahead of his mandatory military enlistment in December 2023.

Meanwhile, amidst the ongoing internal report controversy, HYBE entered the Top 10 of Hits List where the publication wrote:

"K-pop giant is “Who” has a smash with Jimin, while Jin is “There” and growing on DSP charts. Allison Kaye says: Believe the HYBE."

Fans flocked to social media to discuss how despite HYBE's alleged lack of promotional efforts for Jimin's second solo album, it yielded more results for the company. One BTS ARMY credited the Grammy-nominated artist for single-handedly carrying the company and wrote on X:

"Imagine single-handedly carrying a whole conglomerate"

The BTS fanbase tagged HYBE, BIGHIT MUSIC, and Geffen Records to thank the BTS vocalist for his successful album release despite the alleged low promotion. Some fans criticized the company, questioning if they could "support your own artist" by getting WHO proper playlisting and more.

"You still not going to support your own artist, huh?! Say thank you Jimin! Treat your artist like the global star that he is!! @HYBEOFFICIALtwt @BIGHIT_MUSIC" a fan wrote.
"I’m so proud of you Jimin! You contributed so much and indeed a great blessing to your company and to everyone. I hope many will appreciate you more & give you the best recognition, support and love …know your beloved solid rock fans are always behind you," another fan wrote.
"@HYBEOFFICIALtwt @BIGHIT_MUSIC @bts_bighit @GeffenRecords You still not going to support your own artist even when he is carrying your whole company ??" one other fan added.

Others congratulated the BTS member for the success of WHO and asked HYBE to thank him.

"I can't wait to hear Jin's new track "There". But really shout out to JM for making the smash hit"Who". One out of two isn't bad I guess," a fan said.
"Not jimin carrying that company once again when they didn't bother to invest more than 5$ on him," another fan mentioned.
"Hybe say thanks to jimin" one other fan wrote.

Jimin's WHO became the most-streamed & fastest song by an Asian act in 2024 to surpass 903M streams

WHO became the first and only song by an Asian act to surpass 903 million streams on Spotify in 2024 as of November 2. It is also the fastest solo song by an Asian act to achieve this feat in Spotify history within 106 days.

As of November 4, the track has amassed over 919 million streams, averaging a daily stream of 7.47 million streams on Spotify. Despite the idol's absence from the music industry due to his ongoing military service, his album—which was released by BIGHIT MUSIC (now HYBE Labels)—peaked at No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart in July 2024.

He became the first and only K-pop solo artist to debut at No. 1 with MUSE on the UK Worldwide iTunes Album Chart. Additionally, WHO reached No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart in over 112 countries by July 21, 2024. The song also opened at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global 200 (Excl. US) charts.

In other news, BTS' Jimin and Jungkook's travel show, Are You Sure?!, was aired on Disney+ in August 2024.
