On September 28, BTS' j-hope shared a set of pictures on his official Instagram account with the fashion designer Ji Yong-kim. The latest update on j-hope’s account came after the rapper previously posted some images on September 11 with singer and LV creative director, Pharrell Williams.
The singer, who is currently fulfilling his mandatory military term, sparked speculations among his fans with these recent updates about his post-military activities. BTS' j-hope’s fans and other users on X made guesses about the singer's future plans. One of them commented:

BTS' j-hope’s discharge from the military service is scheduled for October 17
On April 18, 2023, j-hope commenced his 18-month military service. He posted an Instagram story on July 9, 2024, with the words "D-100" to mark the 100 days until his discharge. The BTS rapper's departure from the mandatory military service will take place on October 17, 2024.
BTS' Jin was the first member of the band to finish his compulsory military term in June 2024, and j-hope will now be the next one.
On September 17, 2024, the K-pop idol posted a heartfelt letter and a picture of himself in uniform with army dog tags on the Korean social media site Weverse. He was counting down the days until his discharge. In his message, BTS' j-hope said:
