Sorry Not Sorry episode 2 recap: Song-yi’s ex-boyfriend Jin-ho tries to approach her as events unfold 

The second episode of the romantic comedy Sorry Not Sorry aired on December 12 on KBS Joy. Starring Jeon So-min, Gong Min-jung, Jang Hee-ryung, Choi Daniel, and Kim Mu-jun, the 12-episode series releases new episodes every Thursday at 9:00 PM KST.

The previous episode of Sorry Not Sorry showed how Song-yi encountered her school best friend Choi Ha-na and she tried to avoid her. In the latest episode, Song-yi finally talked to Choi Ha-na.

The life of Choi Ha-na was also shown in greater depth in the latest episode of Sorry Not Sorry. Besides, Song-yi’s ex Jin-ho tried to talk to her despite being married to Chan-yang.

Sorry Not Sorry episode 2 recap: Choi Ha-na and Song-yi resolved their finally spoke to each other

The second episode of Sorry Not Sorry started with Song-yi standing in front the door of her ex-boyfriend’s apartment. She was completely shocked to discover that her ex lived in the apartment upstairs.

Although her ex, Jin-ho, recognized her, Song-yi pretended to be strangers after she saw his wife standing behind him. She complained about the foam from her toilet, and came back to her apartment.

Song-yi was upset as she saw that her school best friend Choi Ha-na and her ex Jin-ho were living a happily married life. She was jealous as she was divorced.

Further in this episode of Sorry Not Sorry, the personal struggles of Choi Ha-na’s life were emphasized. She was shown as a multi-tasking women, who juggles between the roles of a wife, mother, and an independent working women. Ha-na also appeared pregnant with her third child.

Although it appeared that she had a perfect life, she constantly struggled to prove herself as the competent employee at the company. Therefore, her boss tried to convince her to take help from others as it was nothing wrong to do. He advised her to take care of herself as she was pregnant.

Meanwhile, Song-yi’s nephew Jay started calling her mommy in front of everyone at his kindergarten. This ended up in a misunderstanding about Jay being Song-yi’s son. As Jay was fluent in English, other mothers of kindergarten students tried to be friends with Song-yi.

They followed her to her cafe, where she worked part time. Those mothers thought it was Song-yi’s cafe and she also kept the truth hidden. Her real cafe owner, Mr. Kim, also helped Song-yi and pretended that she was the cafe’s owner.

Song-yi met those women but she kept ignoring Ha-na’s messages. One day, Ha-na saw Song-yi at the grocery store and she finally caught her. As they started talking, some flashbacks of their strong friendship were shown simultaneously.

Song-yi admitted that she was divorced and not happily married as Ha-na thought. Ha-na also told her about her busy life. It appeared that they drifted away from each other but never forgot about their lovely bond.

In subsequent scene, the mothers of kindergarten students tried to be friends with Song-yi. Therefore, they spoke to the pottery class teacher to add Jay to their kids’ special pottery class. The teacher of pottery class was Jin-ho’s wife.

The other day, Song-yi took care of Ha-na’s kids’ as she was busy with her work at the office. While returning home, she stopped by Song-yi’s house.

While she spoke to Song-yi, she told Ha-na everything about her life. She disclosed how she found her fiancé cheating on her and that Jay was not her son but nephew. She also told Ha-na about her ex Jin-ho. Both of them contemplated how life changed over as they grew older.

In the end of this Sorry Not Sorry episode, Song-yi received a call from Jin-ho, who was attempting to converse with her despite his marital status. He told her about her unhappy marriage as his life was “s*xless.”
