Stray Kids delivered a power-packed headline performance at the I-DAYS Milano 2024 on Friday, July 12. The K-pop octet shared the stage with their labelmates NMIXX and the popular Italian alt/indie-pop band BNKR44, performing their hits in front of a crowd of approximately 70,000 concertgoers.

The S-Class band's attendance as headliners at I-DAYS Milano 2024 was announced on January 30. The pre-sale for the group commenced on February 5 for those registered on the I-DAYS app, and the general sale went live on February 12.

The JYPE group gave outstanding performances, including FREEZE, Super Bowl, and TOPLINE, among others. Metallica, Green Day, Nothing but Thieves, Five Finger Death Punch, Ice Nine Kills, and other well-known artists also performed at I-DAYS Milano.


Some highlights that made Stray Kids' performance at the I-DAYS Milano 2024 memorable

Stray Kids took the stage for the first time in Italy on July 12 at the Ippodromo Snai for I-DAYS Milano. It was also their sole headliner concert in Europe in 2024, making them the first K-pop group to headline I-DAYS in Milan.

Notably, due to high demand, the show's venue was shifted to La Maura on February 11, from a venue with a 20K capacity to an 80K capacity. According to Il Giorno, 59,865 tickets were sold for the group's performance.

Their set kicked off at 9 PM and continued until 10:30 PM local time. As clips and snippets from their performance circulated on the internet, the group started trending on X under hashtags like #StrayKidscIDaysMilano2024 and STRAY KIDS HEADLINE I-DAYS.

From videos shared by attendees and STAYs, the crowd could be heard belting out several lyrics throughout the showcase. Viral clips from performances of God's Menu and Lonely St., show the artists giving their best despite challenging weather conditions, including thunderstorms and rain. The crowd consistently cheered for the group even before the performance started.

Group member Lee Know went viral for his performance during Thunderous and TOPLINE, while another snippet showed the artists headbanging to DOMINO. Member Hyunjin also attracted mass cheers for his dancing style and for sticking out his tongue mid-performance during ITEM.

All members were lauded at various points throughout their live stage, as fan clips suggest. Their dynamic with the crowd, engaging the audience and having fun on stage, was evident. Meanwhile, Han and Seungmin shared some endearing moments on stage, while Changbin and Hyunjin were caught on the big display screen vibing together.

Hyunjin, who donned custom-made Versace at the event, was captured in snaps with the brand's team. Changbin, who momentarily wore a sleeveless fit, was praised for his physique by many fans, both present at the event and online. Additionally, Felix shined a flashlight for fans to spot them as the group departed from the venue post-performance.

I-DAYS Milano posted multiple pictures from the group's performance on their Instagram account. Meanwhile, Han, Seungmin, Felix, Lee Know, and Changbin shared their personal moments from the event on their individual Instagram handles, thrilling fans.


In other news, Stray Kids will be releasing their ninth EP, ATE, on July 19, 2024. The album contains tracks like Mountain, Chk Chk Boom, JJAM, I Like It, Runners, Twilight, Stray Kids, and the festival version of Chk Chk Boom, as per the Mashup Video launched ahead of the release.

The group is further set to headline the stages at BST Hyde Park in London on July 14 and Lollapalooza in Chicago, Illinois (August 1 to 4, 2024).
