Choreographer Brian Puspos recently expressed heartfelt gratitude for the global response to BTS' Jungkook's documentary, I AM STILL. Released on September 18, 2024, the film chronicles Jungkook's solo journey outside of BTS as he created his album, GOLDEN, performed on live stages across North America, and more.
The documentary highlights his friendship with Brian Puspos, cementing their mutual respect and admiration for one another. Puspos also teamed up for the BTS idol's Seven and Standing Next To You choreographies and live performances.
In a heartfelt social media post on Instagram, Brian Puspos thanked Jungkook for his support, calling him an inspiration for artists across disciplines. He tagged the idol's pet dog Bam's Instagram account, @bowwow_bam, which is operated by the singer itself. The choreographer captioned the post:
"Unreal watching this documentary in theatres and now on streaming. I can’t wait to make more memories with the bro Jk and the team. We miss you @bowwow_bam and thank you again for treating us dancers like champions."

The documentary coincided with Jungkook's rise as a solo artist. His debut album, GOLDEN (2023), achieved significant success, with singles like Seven featuring Latto, 3D featuring Jack Harlow, and Standing Next to You topping the Billboard Hot 100, Global 200, and Global 200 (Excl. U.S.) charts.
The documentary, I AM STILL, also provides a behind-the-scenes look at the BTS idol's creative journey for Golden. It showcases his meticulous approach to songwriting and his collaborations with global artists. The film was released on Disney+ in three episodes on December 3, 2024.
The idol further solidified his standing with live performances, including appearances at the TSX stage in New York's Times Square and Citi Concert Series held at TODAY Plaza in Rockefeller Center, among others.
His debut solo single, Seven, garnered widespread recognition, earning him multiple prestigious awards in 2023. This included the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) for "Song of Summer," two MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) for "Best Song" and "Best K-pop," and a Billboard Music Award for "Top Global K-pop Song."
Jungkook became the first Korean solo artist to win all three global music awards (VMAs, EMAs, and BBMAs) in 2023. Additionally, he became the first and only Korean solo artist to win multiple awards at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs).
In addition to his musical achievements, he signed lucrative deals with luxury brands such as Calvin Klein and XBOX, becoming the face of their global campaigns.
In other news, Jungkook enlisted in the South Korean military on December 12, 2023. The BTS idol will return to the music industry in June 2025 after completing 18 months of mandatory service.
