On October 24, GQ JAPAN dropped a teaser of their special cover edition for the December issue, featuring BTS' Kim Seo-jin. The edition will be released on Friday, November 1, 2024. This special cover issue is a collaborative effort with VOGUE JAPAN, where he will be featured on both its regular and special issues.

GQ JAPAN dropped a clip where the Grammy-nominated artist left a message for his fans, teasing the upcoming special cover editions.

"Hello, readers of VOGUE JAPAN and GQ JAPAN. This is JIN of BTS! I’ll be featured in the December issue of both VOGUE JAPAN and GQ JAPAN, released on Friday, November 1st. You’ll be able to see different sides of my charm in each magazine, so please look forward to it! To all the fans, I really miss you and I love you!" he said.

Additionally, the publication released another reel, teasing the pictorial shoot of the BTS sensation. The Epiphany singer-songwriter could be seen channeling several tailored suits and a black satin choker reminiscent of BTS' Blood Sweat & Tears era.

The video included an instrumental violin background score as the camera pans to capture the idol's silhouette, hinting at an outdoor shoot.

Fans lauded the theme and concept of the upcoming special cover issue. A fan underscored the detailing in the video and wrote on X:

All the posts from GQ JAPAN and VOGUE went viral online as fans trended multiple hashtags like #JINxVOGUEJAPANxGQJAPAN, #JINxVOGUEJAPAN, and more, for the upcoming magazine collaboration.

The BTS ARMY praised the idol's "top tier visuals" from the pictorial shoot's teaser clip and compared him to a "vampire."

"The top tier visuals he always serves! Truly the most unmatched and unrivaled face card ever," a fan wrote.
"Jin gracing the covers of GQ and Vogue Japan is a major moment! His presence on these iconic magazines highlights his global influence not just in music but also in fashion. Fans are thrilled to see him shine in the spotlight, showcasing his charisma and style on such prestigious platforms!" another fan wrote.
"Never beating the vampire allegations. You're just giving us more proof, Kim Seokjin." one other fan added.

Some fans joked that the BTS singer hasn't rested a single day since he was discharged from the military in June 2024.

"Bro has never rested ever since he came back. booked and busy 24/7," one fan commented.
"Seokjin looking dangerously hot in Vogue/GQ Japan cover - he looks so dominating," another fan stated.
"Glad I bought both magazines cause he is stunning," another fan added.

BIGHIT MUSIC drops teaser clip of BTS' Jin's pre-release single, I'll Be There

The BTS vocalist is set to release his debut solo album, Happy, on November 15. The album's pre-release single, I'll Be There, will be dropped on October 25, at 1 pm KST (9 pm PT on October 24).

The track will have a powerful band sound as the song's foundation. In the teaser video, the Grammy-nominated artist is seen flaunting a mullet and outfits like a rock band. Star News reported that the song will convey the artist's feelings of encouraging his fans to find the strength in being happy as much as they can.

Meanwhile, the forthcoming album, Happy, will have six tracks including I'll Be There. The album's tracks are Running Wild, Another Level, Falling, Heart on the Window (featuring Wendy of RED VELVET), and I Will Come to You.

The title track, Running Wild, was co-produced by Gary Barlow of Take That. Additionally, Falling was co-produced by GHSTLOOP along with Take & Toru from the Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK.

According to the official press release reported by Billboard, BIGHIT MUSIC stated:

"Happy reflects Jin’s honest contemplation on happiness, which holds significant importance to him. Embarking on a journey to find the true meaning of happiness, Jin aims to share a sense of warmth and comfort through a true, authentic expression of himself as a solo artist."

In other news, the Epiphany singer-songwriter became the global ambassador of four high-end brands such as FRED, Gucci, ALO, and LANEIGE, between July and October 2024.
