On January 17, 2025, Netflix dropped the official poster for its upcoming romantic drama, Melo Movie, featuring Park Bo-young and Choi Woo-shik. Set to premiere globally on February 14, 2025, the series promises a heartfelt exploration of love and second chances.
Melo Movie centers on the intertwined lives of film critic Ko Gyeom (portrayed by Choi Woo-shik) and aspiring director Kim Mu-bi (Park Bo-young's character). Years after a mysterious incident drove them apart, the two reunite, reigniting old feelings and confronting unresolved issues. The narrative delves into themes of forgiveness, personal growth, and the enduring power of love.
The movie also stars Badland Hunters star Lee Jun-young as Hong Si-jun and Parasyte: The Grey actress Jeon So-nee as Son Ju-a. The series is penned by renowned screenwriter Lee Na-eun and directed by Oh Choong-hwan, who is known for his work on Castaway Diva.
