The Fiery Priest 2, starring Kim Nam-gil, Honey Lee, and Sung Joon, aired episode 10 December 13, 2024, on SBS. The episode started with Kim Hae-il (Kim Nam-gil) and Park Kyung-sun (Honey Lee), entering the ship disguised as a female and male shaman respectively. Kim Hae-il successfully saved his former NIS senior with Capelin (Oh Hee-joon)
The Sweeper Gang and Park Kyung-sun tried to take down Boss Park (Yang Hyun-min) to escape the ship. Kim Hae-il and Kim Hong-shik (Sung Joon) got into a fistfight, as the former was revealed to be an ex NIS member. As Kim Hae-il won, Kim Hong-shik felt humiliated.
The Gudam team exited the ship, and Sister Kim (Baek Ji-won) came to pick them up with Ko Dok-sung. On the other hand, Nam Du-heon (Seo Hyun-woo) found a CCTV video showing Park Kyung-sun visiting Kim Hae-il at the hospital, further suspecting their connection.

In the recent developments of The Fiery Priest 2, Kim Hong-shik took Park Kyung-sun as a hostage, turning her into a backup. This was after Kim Hae-il got rid of the bomb and the gas station and Kim Hong-shik learned Park Kyung-sun had fooled him.

In The Fiery Priest 2 episode 10, Go Martha (Heo Soon-mi) met the senior citizens who worked at the ship and requested them to be honest in the investigation. Kim Hae-il promised the Gudam Crew not to hide anything after they confronted him about his illness.
The next day, Kim Hong-shik beat up Boss Park stating that he had messed up too many times. He then started to plan his escape from Uma City with his Laotian crew. Ko Dok-sung (Kim Won-hae) met Boss Park who was injured in the hospital and laid his plans of defusing the explosives.
At the same time, Boss Park received Nam Du-heon's call, where Nam asked him to put goons behind Go Martha. She then stepped back from the narcotic cases, while he asked Boss Park to tail Park Kyung-sun after being betrayed by her.
Park Kyung-sun was chased by two suspicious men outside her house and Kim Ma-ri came to save the day. Kim Ma-ri (Hwang Jung-min) revealed that she was a spy sent by Chief Prosecutor Park to take down Nam Du-heon. Kim Ma-ri explained to Park Kyung-sun that Nam Du-heon's hideout had CCTV cameras installed, so she had no choice but to tase her to stop her from entering.
Later in episode 10 of The Fiery Priest 2, Kim Hae-il offered his apologies to Dean Lee for all the problems that occurred due to his actions. Dean Lee (Lee Woong-suk) and Kim Hae-il had a heartfelt conversation where he learned that the Dean used to protest against injustice when he was young.
Since Dean Lee lost his best friend in one of the protests, he did not want to work towards justice. However, Kim Hae-il told him if he were to die in the way of justice, he would want someone to continue his job. He explained that Dean Lee's late friend also must have felt the same.
Later, Kim Hong-shik met Park Kyung-sun at the church asking her to leave Uma with him but she declined the offer, leaving him sad. As Kim Hong-shik left, Park Kyung-sun told Kim Hae-il about the Polka Dot ghost being one of the three female victims of her house's previous landlord, who was a murderer. She also told him that Nam Du-heon realized her plans but didn't tell Kim Hong-shik.
Meanwhile, Nam Du-heon was confronted by Kim Hong-shik for not informing him about Kim Hae-il being a former NIS agent. Kim Hong-shik believed that Nam Du-heon betrayed him. Given that both Go Martha and Park Kyung-sun were alive and safe, Nam Du-heon's efforts went down the drain. He told Kim Hong-shik about Park Kyung-sun's true motive to approach him.
The next day, Kim Hong-shik kidnapped Park Kyung-sun and tried to execute his plans to destroy Uma City by activating the bomb and harmful gases at the abandoned gas station. However, none of the plans were successful, so Kim Hong-shik decided to use Park Kyung-sun as a backup. He called Kim Hae-il through Park Kyung-sun's phone and threatened him about her life.
By the end of The Fiery Priest 2 episode 10, Park Kyung-sun was tied to a chair with two syringes around her neck ready to be injected. Kim Hong-shik gave Kim Hae-il an option: whether to kill himself with a gun to save Park Kyung-sun or let her die due to overdose within three minutes.
Kim Hong-shik wanted to see if Kim Hae-il would abide by God's command or make a sacrifice to save Park Kyung-sun. The Fiery Priest 2 episode 10 ended with a cliffhanger where the screen blacked out with a gunshot in the background.
Meanwhile, The Fiery Priest 2 episode 11 will not air on Saturday, December 14, 2024 on SBS. Notably, the rescheduled airing date has not been confirmed yet.
