The Fiery Priest 2, starring Kim Nam-gil, Honey Lee, BIBI, Kim Sung-kyun, and more, aired episodes 7 and 8 on SBS on November 29 and 30, respectively. The Fiery Priest 2 episode 7 showed that Kim Hong-shik's (Sung Joon) goons killed the Seoul Prosecutor who was after Nam Du-heon (Seo Hyun-woo). Meanwhile, Kim Hae-il (Kim Nam-gil) was furious watching the Virgin Mary statue on fire. He noticed a drone watching over them and tried to follow it but could not keep up and eventually missed it.
On the other hand, the Uma Police Department caught a politician's son and his celebrity friend using drugs at a club. Nam Du-heon asked Park Kyung-sun (Honey Lee) to go easy on the politician's son and blame it on the celebrity.
Meanwhile, Gu Dae-young (Kim Sung-kyun) became Maksan, a wanted criminal who looked like him, and Gu Ja-young (BIBI) turned into Yuk Du-ja, a shaman who is Maksan's girlfriend.
With Oh Yo-han (Ko Kyu-pil) and, Ssongsak Tekaratanapeuraseoteu (Ahn Chang-hwan), Gu Dae-young and Gu Ja-young made the Sweeper Gang and pretended to hunt Kim Hae-il.

In the recent developments of The Fiery Priest 2, Kim Hae-il finally found out the top boss of the drug cartel and it was none other than Kim Hong-shik.
The Fiery Priest 2 ep 7-8 recap: Park Kyung-sun and Kim Hong-shik have their first date, while Kim Hae-il's health worsens
In The Fiery Priest 2 episode 7, Park Kyung-sun followed Nam Du-heon and learned about his hideout. Inside the hideout, Nam Du-heon was filming all the evidence against criminals. Later, Kim Hong-shik visited the church and continued to misbehave.
Kim Hae-il met Park Kyung-sun at the church, who told him about the polka dot ghost at her house and requested him to perform an exorcism. After reaching her home, Kim Hae-il could not see any ghosts. However, the polka dot ghost hopped on Kim Hae-il’s back. Since he could not see the ghost, Park Kyung-sun saw the ghost leave the house.
Boss Park told Kim Hong-shik about Maksan and their mutual enemy Kim Hae-il, and suggested they should meet each other. With this, the sweeper gang successfully entered the ship aka Kim Hong-shik's hideout.
Meanwhile, Nam Du-heon met Kim Hae-il and warned him to back off from the cartel or else the people around him would die.
At the ship, Gu Ja-young and others from the Sweeper Gang were able to find out that Kim Hong-shik is the cartel's owner. Kim Hong-shik's fundraiser event started at the church and Kim Hae-il attended it to observe him.
He received a call from the Sweeper Gang and they told him about Kim Hong-shik’s true identity. By the end of The Fiery Priest 2 episode 7, Kim Hae-il and Kim Hong-shik engaged in a physical fight in the church backyard as it rained heavily.
In The Fiery Priest 2 episode 8, Kim Hae-il experienced a severe headache while fighting, and fell. Park Kyung-sun also found out about Kim Hong-shik through sister Kim (Baek Ji-won).
To save Kim Hae-il, Park Kyung-sun called Kim Hong-shik and accepted his request to go to the observatory.
Besides this, the mysterious lady called the police and got Kim Hong-shik arrested. It was revealed that she was Go Martha (Heo Soon-mi), Chief of the Uma Police Department. This left everyone including Kim Hae-il in shock.
He followed her to the police station and tried to get information from her and she told him some of it but soon declined to help him. She said that Kim Hong-shik would be released soon as the prosecutor’s office would not grant a warrant for him. Soon, Kim Hong-shik was released.
Kim Hae-il found some shocking information about Kim Hong-shik from his former colleague who ran a bookstore in Busan. She told him that whenever Kim Hong-shik’s plans fail he blows up the ship with an explosive and also uses hazardous gases to kill the people involved.
Later in The Fiery Priest 2 episode 8, Kim Hae-il met Park Kyung-sun and discussed the new information they were convinced that he must have planned a similar pattern for Uma as well.
They plan to look for the explosives while Kim Hae-il teased Park Kyung-sun to ask Kim Hong-shik about the gas.
The next day, Kim Hong-shik and Park Kyung-sun went to the observatory and witnessed the meteor shower. He took her for dinner and gave her a necklace.
Later, when Park Kyung-sun found out about the high price of the necklace, she was shocked. To get rid of Kim Hong-shik, Park Kyung-sun met him again returned the necklace, and rejected him.
By the end of The Fiery Priest 2 episode 8, Kim Hong-shik found the location of Kim Hae-il's former senior and current informant. Before she tried to pull her gun in defense, Kim Hong-shik attacked her.
Boss Park caught Gu Dae-young after realizing that he was the cop. Moreover, Kim Hong-shik's goons broke into the seminary and started attacking the students.
This is because Nam Du-heon informed Kim Hong-shik about the students protesting against drug abuse. Kim Hae-il went to the seminary and got into a fight with the gangsters, trying to save the students.
Due to his headache, Kim Hae-il once again passed out in front of the church dean and the students.
