"This can't be a coincidence" — Fans react as Tyla seemingly teases a collaboration with BLACKPINK's Lisa in the latest Instagram update 

On December 3, 2024, Tyla made headlines for allegedly hinting at a collab with BLACKPINK's Lisa on Instagram. One of the pictures was a still from the Shake Ah MV where a man is changing parts on a dirt bike. The license plate on the bike spelled "LSA 8880" written on it, which made fans suspicious.

South African pop sensation Tyla released the highly anticipated music video for her track, Shake Ah, a standout from the deluxe edition of her self-titled debut album, TYLA (Deluxe). The video premiered alongside the deluxe album on December 1, 2024, featuring three new tracks: Shake Ah, Push 2 Start, and Back to You.

Eagle-eyed fans speculated that the South African singer teased a future collaboration with the BLACKPINK artist as rumors had been circulating since March 2024. Furthermore, Lisa's 2024 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show opening performance included a race bike. Fans drew parallels between her performance and Tyla's picture which fuelled further speculations.

Meanwhile, the photo went viral online and one fan wrote on X:

"waittttt u r cooking because Lisa was also on a motorbike in her VS performance...this can't be a coincidence"

Fans expressed their excitement on social media toward the alleged future collaboration between the two artists.

"Someone said it spells "love South africa" NOOOOO WE NEED THIS COLLAB SHUT UPPPP," one fan wrote.

"OMG IF THIS IS TRUE ILL BE SCREAMINGGGGGG," another fan wrote.

"Wait omg i need for this collab to actually be happening," a fan commented.

Others stated that even though it was just a rumor, however, Tyla liking the BLACKPINK idol's Instagram post couldn't be another "coincidence."

"The only time your "rumours" actually made sense OMG COTY might be incoming," one other fan remarked.

"No bc i will win so bad if this is true like," another fan said.

"Now that I see this so Tyla liking Lisa upcoming album cannot be coincidence right," another fan added.

Lisa, the globally celebrated member of BLACKPINK, continued to soar in her solo career with the release of her latest single, Rockstar, in June 2024.
