The video was delivered as a short story corresponding to its title, toxic till the end.

Fans speculated that these rings were actually taken away by Rosé’s ex and these were not merely lyrics.

Some fans pointed out that the filming location of the song appeared similar to that seen in the American TV show Gossip Girl. A fan speculated that the house shown in Rosé’s MV is the one shown as Nate’s family house in the American show.
