On October 26, 2024, HYBE's internal document concerning BTS' Jimin and Jungkook went viral on the Korean online forum TheQoo. The document was revealed by the Democratic Party of Korea representative Min Hyung-bae at the National Assembly audit on October 24.

The post on TheQoo highlighted that the label allegedly caused strife between BTS' Jimin and Jungkook's fan bases on DC Gallery. As per the highlighted segment from HYBE's internal document, the original poster claimed that the company kept quiet, as the fan bases of the two BTS members allegedly spread malicious content against them.

For the unversed, DC Gallery is another Korean online forum. This invited the ire of the public, as they accused HYBE of failing to protect their artists. One X user stated that BTS and NewJeans should leave HYBE, writing:

"It's time for BTS and NewJeans to leave HYBE without them HYBE will go bankrupt, Which agency pits and badmouths its own artists is truly disgusting."

Online users further discussed how the entertainment companies are infamous for allegedly "sabotaging" artists and their solo works.

"This is nothing new, we know companies sabotage solo works (in one way or another) bc they dont want individual idols to get too big, the difference is that other fandoms recognize that and pressure the company, i hope this is a wake up call to all hybe’s fandoms," an X user wrote.
"Hybe is one of the companies that understands bad publicity is still publicity and uses that to ease into brand growth. Collaborations with other artists and companies require NUMBERS not PR… Hybe is evil but smart," another netizen wrote.
"Said it before, BTS as a brand is bigger than hybe, the fat man is a jealous person, I genuinely blieve his reason for buyin so many smaller companies was to move away from the idea that BTS made his company wat it is today, if an opportunity comes for him to discard them, he will," a fan added.

Some netizens highlighted how they wish both Jimin and Jungkook would terminate their contracts with HYBE since the label failed "to protect them."

"This is unbelievable… Hybe protecting its artists? Yeah, right! The company sees it all and still lets hate run wild among akgaes because it’s convenient to have “dedicated” fans supporting the artist—even if it means bringing others down. Thank goodness Jimin and Jungkook rise above the drama of toxic solos, akgaes, and all this chaos," one fan said.
"May god protects you and shelter you my Jimin and Jungkook, hope you're surrounded by genuine loving caring people that have your best interest at mind! Praying for both your safety and well being! As long as you both are together i know both of you have each other's back," another fan commented.
"They should leave Jimin and Jungkook alone. The hybe had to protect them and not throw its image at the wolves. This company is too inconsequential. Jimin and Jungkook had to leave this horrible place." one other fan added.

BTS' Jimin and Jungkook had successful solo releases between 2022 and 2024, with both showcasing their individual musical styles. Jimin’s debut solo album FACE, released on March 24, 2023, marked his first full-scale solo project since BTS announced its temporary break from group activities in June 2022.

With the title track Like Crazy, he ventured into a synth-pop style, blending his high-range vocals with emotional lyrics.
