Ahead of their military enlistment, BTS' Jimin and Jungkook pre-filmed a reality travel show, Are You Sure?!, which aired its latest episode on September 5, 2024. The show took fans on a tour as the BTS duo traveled across California, Japan, and Jeju Island from July to November 2023 before enlisting on December 12, 2023.

In episode 6 of Are You Sure?!, the duo flew to Japan to film the show's last leg. The episode opened by showing the date "November 25, 2023," and ended with Jimin and Jungkook discussing how eagerly they have been looking forward to 2025. For the uninitiated, BTS' Namjoon, Suga, Taehyung, Jimin, and Jungkook are scheduled to be discharged from the military in June 2025.

In the last few minutes of the episode, the two musicians share a meal at a quaint restaurant in Sapporo, Japan, recalling old times while also looking ahead for their future group comeback. The Please Don't Change singer opened up about how they fought often about trivial matters when they debuted as BTS

"Back then, our members always had this anger inside of them, you know? We got angry because of trivial stuff. But that stuff is nothing to us anymore, right? But back then, we got riled up by the smallest things. I think it's going to be fun when all finish our military service and go back on tour again. It'll be really fun," he said.

In response, Jimin highlighted how he was unable to control his anger and emotions when he was younger, recalling his fight with Taehyung over dumplings. He continued that a decade ago, all BTS members were too young and had a lot of pent-up resentment and anger, asserting that they had all successfully overcome their emotions in the early years in the industry.

"We had a lot of resentment. We're all pretty emptied up inside now. We fought a lot and also cried a lot. It's going to be hilarious when we start touring again. While everyone so old now. We'll be back soon enough," he shared.

Jimin and Jungkook give fans a closer look into how BTS members' friendships have evolved over the years

Are You Sure?! episode 6 took Jungkook and Jimin back to Sapporo, Japan, after seven years. The two began their first evening with food and drink from the convenience shop, chatting about becoming older. The Euphoria singer recalled his voyage with Jimin years ago to Sapporo and how they went to Tokyo Disneyland together as the former made a GFC short film about their time.

For the unversed, GCF stands for Golden Closet Films, Jungkook's personal brand, where he films and edits his time with BTS members and uploads them as short films.

Meanwhile, in Are You Sure?! episode 6, Jungkook shared how BTS' Namjoon wrote him a letter to congratulate Jungkook for releasing his debut solo album. He added that Namjoon even attended his Golden Live On Stage Concert in November 2023 (ahead of his Japan trip).

Furthermore, Jimin shared an anecdote from his previous trip to a Japanese restaurant with SHINee's Taemin, where they both walked for 30 minutes at night, discussing life. They called it a night after completing their dinner and headed out the next morning to explore the city of Sapporo.

After taking the tube (train), they arrived at their destination, and the duo took the car to drive to several locations. In the car, Jimin played BTS' Jin's Super Tuna, Jungkook's Hate You, and his and Jungkook's Christmas Day. They drove to the Nikka Museum, a place where Nikka Whiskey and Bourbon are brewed, aged, and sold.

The BTS singer eagerly sampled a few whiskeys before the Euphoria singer purchased a few bottles of Nikka Whiskey. After picking up a few bottles at the store, the two headed to their next location to grab lunch.

Before reaching their choice of restaurant, the singers ran across the snow-covered streets of Sapporo, had a snow fight, and made a hilariously misshapen snowman.

Are You Sure?! episode 6 wrapped up with the duo's heart-to-heart chat about their debut era, their fights, becoming mature over the years, and their anticipation for 2025.

Are You Sure?! is available on Disney+ for global streaming.
