On November 4, 2024, SBS reported that TXT shared a meal with BTS' Jin ahead of their respective comebacks, exchanging supportive messages. TXT revealed this during a press conference for their ACT: PROMISE ENCORE IN SEOUL concert held from November 1 to 3, 2024, at Seoul's KSPO Dome.
TXT member HUENINGKAI said:
"We had a meal with JIN sunbaenim and while eating, we touched upon various topics. He mentioned his upcoming comeback, and we shared a lot of supportive messages, expressing our belief that it would go well and our gratitude. JIN sunbaenim kicked off his comeback really well with the pre-release track 'I'll Be There,' so we prepared diligently for our own comeback."
TXT member Beomgyu further elaborated how he texted the BTS singer-songwriter, praising the idol's latest single, I'll Be There. Jin dropped his comeback solo single on October 25, 2024, two years after his official debut solo single release of The Astronaut on October 28, 2022. The BTS singer is set to drop his debut solo album, Happy, on November 15, 2024.
Beomgyu added that Jin told him how much he has been looking forward to TXT's comeback release.
"Actually, I contacted Seokjin (JIN's real name) hyung today. I told him how amazing the pre-release track is and sent him a supportive message, saying I'm looking forward to the album. Seokjin hyung knows we have a concert today, and he sent us a supportive message about it. He also said he's really looking forward to the album coming out tomorrow."
TXT releases THE STAR CHAPTER: SANCTUARY with the official MV of Over The Moon
TXT released their seventh mini-album, THE STAR CHAPTER: SANCTUARY, on November 4, 2024, with the title track, Over The Moon. This followed the successful April 2024 release of their mini album, MINISODE 3: TOMORROW.
The release of the six-track mini album combines the quintet's excellent falsetto, relatable lyrics, and R&B-infused harmonies. Their signature mix of genres—spanning pop and rock influences—is enhanced by experimental electronic sounds, creating a soundscape that feels fresh.
The latest mini-album explores themes of love, desire, and personal development. In THE STAR CHAPTER: SANCTUARY, the group takes a step further into more mature emotional territory, capturing both the innocence and complexities of young adulthood. They aim to reach a “sanctuary” within themselves, a safe place where they can feel at peace amid the turbulence of growing up.
Here is the full tracklist:
- Heaven
- Over The Moon
