Queen of Tears received an average of 24.9 percent nationwide ratings, marking the highest-rated drama of all time on tvN. After four years, the drama surpassed Crash Landing on You to achieve this milestone.
Furthermore, Lovely Runner, starring Byeon Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon, also ended on a happy note with its last episode aired on May 28. The show marked an average rating of 5.8 percent nationwide with its final episode. 1.) Parole Examiner Lee Han Shin (Working Title)
Parole Examiner Lee Han Shin is a drama written by Park Chi-hyung and helmed by director Yoon Sang-ho. The drama follows the story of Lee Han-shin, who pursued a career as an officer to seek revenge and bring justice as he possesses the huge responsibility and power of deciding whether a prisoner will be paroled or not.
Not much has been revealed regarding the drama. However, the cast members are confirmed to be Go, Soo, Kwon Yu-ri, and Baek Ji-won. It is set to air in the next half of 2024.
2.) Player 2: Master of Swindlers
Player is a drama aired in 2018 on tvN and is making a comeback six years later with the title Player 2: Master of Swindlers. The show stars actors like Song Seung-heon, Oh Yeon-seo, Tae Won-suk, Lee Si-eon, and Jang Gyu-ri.
The drama follows the story of players coming from different professional backgrounds, including scammers and hackers, to clean the dirty money of the villains. Player 2: Master of Swindlers will air on June 3, 2024, at 8:50 pm KST on tvN.
