BTS’ Jin was recently released from his mandatory military service, and after this, the singer is now getting ready for the release of his new variety show named Run Jin. Run Jin is set to make its debut on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 9 p.m. KST. The show will be released on the BANGTAN TV's YouTube channel, alongside Weverse.

The web series will be released in the same time slot of Run BTS, as the latter is currently on indefinite break due to the K-pop band’s military enlistment.

Since his 18-month military service ended on June 12, Jin has kept himself rather busy.

Details about Run Jin, teasers, and more

Run Jin is BTS' Jin’s fresh take on the group’s original Run BTS show. The first teaser of the singer’s variety show was launched on July 31, 2024. In the first teaser titled Road of Hardship, Paved by Jin, the singer could be seen entering a van, the day after he was discharged from the Korean military.

He talked to his cameraman about making more content, while the cameraman on the other side instead asked Jin to take some time off. The singer responded to the cameraman by saying that they will hike to the Hallasan mountains.

Following the initial teaser, the second teaser titled, Jeju Island Trip was realeased on August 1. Several other teasers have also appeared on the BANGTAN TV YouTube channel in recent days. The teaser was about the things Jin was packing for his one day trip to Jeju island.

In the video, Jin shared that he has packed a BT21 pouch, foam cleanser, electric razor, lip balm, and pajamas for his trip. He also added that a game device is a must for him while travelling.

In the third teaser named Last Meal, Jin arrived in Jeju. During his conversation with the driver, he said that he has been to Jeju only five times in the 33 years he has been alive. Then he reached a speciality restaurant in Jeju to eat black pork. He grilled the meat and tried multiple food combos in the video. He combined black pork with perilla leaf jjangachi, salty bean sprouts, sweet and sour pachae, grilled kimchi, and crispy ssam mu.

The fourth teaser, titled Worldwide Handsome’s Night, was about a short tour of Jin’s house booked for a hike in Jeju. In the video, the singer also tried different, low and mid-cut hiking boots and prepared himself for the next day's hiking adventure.

In the most recent exciting teaser, Jin finally went on his hiking trip to Hallassan. Throughout the teaser, he kept on walking and eventually realized that he was the only one heading to the Hallasan Mountains. He got too tired from the continuous walking.
