Lee Si-an, the 25-year-old model, has become the center of attention on Single's Inferno season 4, drawing the most interest from all the male contestants as well as the viewers since the very beginning. Known for her beauty and personality, Si-an quickly emerged as the most desired contestant, with every male contestant vying for her attention.

In the season's premiere, Si-an quickly made an impression and was one of the first contestants chosen to go to "paradise" by Kim Jeong-su, a 33-year-old business owner. Their date went well, and by the end of it, Jeong-su described her as having the "prettiest smile" of all the women.

By the end of episode 6, Si-an has found herself in the midst of a love triangle involving Kim Jeong-su and Jang Theo, two contestants she had previously gone on "Paradise" dates with. Additionally, the new wild card entrant, Ahn Jong-hoon, has selected her as one of his two dates in Paradise, further intensifying the competition. Not to be outdone, Yuk Jun-seo has also been making efforts to win Si-an's heart.

Li Si-an describes herself in Single's Inferno as someone who rarely stays single and is hoping for a "fiery, passionate, whirlwind romance" on the show. When asked about her ideal partner, Si-an expressed a preference for someone with a "strong inner self."

Lee Si-an: Rising star on Single's Inferno faces legal battle with Leaders Entertainment

Born Lee Yun-jin on February 25, 1999, in Seocho-gu, Seoul, South Korea, Lee Si-an stands tall at 171 cm. A former competitive swimmer, she shifted her focus to K-pop and entered the entertainment industry as a trainee. She trained for nine months before appearing on the 2017 Mnet survival show, Idol School, where she ranked 16th, narrowly missing the chance to debut with the girl group Fromis_9.

The following year, Si-an joined the popular Mnet series Produce 48, where she earned 30th place and was eliminated in episode 11. Despite not making it to the final group, her participation in these high-profile shows gained her considerable attention. In the same period, Si-an was linked to the pre-debut group Happyface Girls under HF Music Company, but the group ultimately disbanded.

After her time in the K-pop trainee system, Si-an has transitioned to a career in modeling. She signed with Leaders Entertainment in 2023 and has become a sought-after model, especially in the athleisure sector, working with well-known brands like Samsung Galaxy, FILA, New Balance, and COSRX. Her athletic figure, which she attributes to her past swimming background in the show, has made her a favorite for fashion shoots.

Since appearing on Single's Inferno, Si-an’s Instagram following has skyrocketed. She now boasts over 241K followers, a significant jump from the 82K she had prior to the season's premiere.

On January 21, Leaders Entertainment revealed that it has taken legal action against model Lee Si-an for allegedly breaching her exclusive contract. She reportedly informed the agency of her decision to terminate their agreement before its scheduled expiration.

According to a statement shared with Korean media from Leaders Entertainment, Lee’s original contract was set to end on October 25, 2024. However, both parties signed an additional agreement in April 2024, extending her contract until April 2026.

Leaders Entertainment claimed that after completing the filming for Single's Inferno 4 in August, Lee informed the agency—through a representative—that she intended to end her contract early and would only continue working until October 21, 2024. The agency addressed the issue, stating,

“Lee Si-an’s claims regarding the termination of her exclusive contract are without merit. All contracts related to her projects, including those during the filming of Single's Inferno 4, were signed under the name of Leaders Entertainment CEO Kim Geun-soo. Lee not only provided her written consent but also expressed active agreement to the terms.”

According to the agency, Lee’s decision to cease activities under their management after the show's airing was unexpected and a breach of their agreement. Leaders Entertainment confirmed it is proceeding with legal action to address the matter and emphasized its commitment to preventing similar situations in the future.

Meanwhile, Lee Si-an, who now identifies herself as a freelance model on Instagram, has yet to respond publicly to the claims.

Amid the ongoing controversy, fans remain captivated by Lee Si-an’s journey on Single's Inferno 4. Many are eager to see if she deepens her connections with Jang Theo or Kim Jeong-su, or if new romantic possibilities will emerge in the episodes ahead.

The 12-episode season of Single's Inferno 4 has already released its first six episodes on Netflix. With new episodes dropping in pairs every Tuesday, viewers are anxiously awaiting the unfolding drama. The next two episodes, 11 and 12, will be available for streaming worldwide starting January 28, 2025.
