Netflix's reality show, The Influencer, released its last three episodes on August 13, 2024. The episode showed the Top 4 finalists OKING, Risabae, PaniBottle, and Jang Ji-sou lock horns in one final round to see who's the best influencer among them.
The Influencer season 1 declared OKING as its winner. He took home 300 million won (over $2,18,729), after a 66-minute-long thrilling finale episode.
Meanwhile, The Influencer Episode 7 started with OKING, Risabae, PaniBottle, and Jang Ji-sou entertaining the live audience by performing various stints on stage. The set was divided into four parts with glass walls, and one section was given to each of the Top 4 finalists. The influencers had to plan their performance set to keep the live audience entertained for 60 minutes.
Aiki performing the Smoke challenge was one of the highlights from this episode of Netflix's The Influencer
In episode 7 of The Influencer, Risabae decided to invite a friend from the audience to her section. Celebrity choreographer and dancer, Aiki, joined the makeup influencer on stage and interacted with fans.
Aiki also performed the Smoke challenge as Risabae flaunted her rapping skills, which was one of the major highlights of the episode.
PaniBottle asked his audience to write their wishes on a piece of paper, which he would read aloud and share his views on. Meanwhile, Jang Ji-sou tried to hold onto his little audience who turned up to watch him.
OKING engaged with the audience, shared a few jokes, and played HalliGalli Matchmaking, where he called random members from the audience on stage and tried to set them up with each other for a date.
As per the game rules, the glass walls that divided the set into four parts were lifted upwards so that the audience could switch stages and join the other influencers' sets in case they didn't enjoy the previous show.
When the walls were lifted up for the firkeeping st time, Jang Ji-sou lost a considerable amount of his crowd. The majority of PaniBottle's, Jang Ji-sou, and OKING's crowd ran to Risabae's set to see Aiki.
After the first round ended and the final audience numbers were tallied, Risabae attracted 1,061 spectators, OKING got 1,069 spectators, PaniBottle was at 420, and Jang Ji-sou was at 283.
The Top 3 finalists of the finale round were Risabae, OKING, and PaniBottle, while Ji-sou had to leave the stage and hand over his dog collar. The finale round stayed the same where the influencers had to keep on entertaining the crowd with their onstage skits and show.
The winner was to be decided based on how much their audience mentioned them in the chat app.
For the unversed, a chat app was exclusively created for The Influencers, which performed as a live simulation of social media apps. The audience could vote, rank, chat, like, and dislike the influencer participants in the show.
OKING offered the audience sashs, banner boards, and snacks to encourage them to chat more about him. PaniBottle provided his audience with snacks, beers, soju, and non-alcoholic drinks and engaged in casual conversations to keep them interested.
Meanwhile, Risabae gave a live cover makeup tutorial where she did BLACKPINK Jennie's lookalike makeup on a girl. The audience was in awe to see the uncanny resemblance between Jennie and the girl after the makeup. This was another highlight from the episode as Risabae dashed to the center stage to hit the "FEVER TIME" buzzer.
The FEVER TIME buzzer could be used only one time by each of the Top 3 finalists. Once the buzzer is hit by a contestant, the chats with that influencer's name will be counted twice in the tally. PaniBottle used the buzzer at the beginning of the final round, while Risabae used it with only 10 minutes left in the competition.
However, in the end, OKING won the show and the round with 40.66%, keeping the audience engaged throughout the 60-minute game. Risabae came in second and PaniBottle came in third.
The Influencer is available on Netflix for global streaming.
