Netflix's Physical 100 season 2 finalist and former rugby player Andre Jin came under fire for reportedly s*xually assaulting his ex-girlfriend. South Korean news outlet MBC disclosed the footage on July 1, 2024, of Andre attacking his former partner at her house.

Reportedly, Andre Jin and the woman dated for six months before breaking up in March 2024. He went to her house to get his belongings when the violent incident took place. MBC showed the video, which included some footage of the confrontation blurred since Andre was allegedly naked.

The video showed the lady begging the Physical 100 season 2 finalist to stop as he continuously attacked her. She then rushes to the bathroom and locks the door before calling the police for help. However, after some time, the video shows Andre breaking the bathroom door and continuing to physically assault his ex-girlfriend.

MBC discloses Andre Jin reportedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend in an exclusive video

MBC reported that Andre Jin could be heard shouting "Die, you b*tch!" as he continuously physically attacked the woman. She kept begging him to stop and could be heard saying,

"Stop it. I'm sorry. You came to my house to beat me and try to s*xually assault me."

The woman suffered facial bleeding and a concussion as a result of the horrific event. Following this traumatic incident, she had to consult a psychiatrist, who has been trying to help her deal with the fallout from the tragedy. Furthermore, the Physical 100 season 2 finalist texted her after leaving her house.

"I think I heard you screaming. I hope everything is okay."

Three days later, on June 21, the former rugby player was taken into custody by the authorities and charged with major violence and s*xual offenses. Domestic violence rights organizations and the general public have expressed indignation and demanded justice in this instance.

Authorities are still investigating the case, and Andre Jin's legal team are yet to address the accusations.


Netflix's Physical 100 season 1 contestant faces assault charges

According to Cosmopolitan, in March 2023, an unidentified contestant from Netflix's Physical 100 season 1 was charged with brutally abusing his real-life girlfriend. The Seoul Gangnam Police Station stated that, while the male competitor's identity was kept confidential, he was arrested for possible assault and violence.

According to the police, a woman filed a report on February 23, 2023, at approximately 10:50 a.m., alleging the man had abused her. In light of the accusations, Netflix skipped holding a press conference for Physical 100 season 1 on February 28 at the CGV I-Park Mall in Seoul.

In November 2022, charges were brought against another athlete on the program for allegedly threatening to hurt his fiancée. On accusations of intimidation, he was turned over to the prosecution. News outlet Mothership reported that a weapon was found at the scene during the investigation.

According to the report by My Daily, the contestant was indicted in July 2023 after a knife was found at the scene. The contestant reportedly damaged the victim's properties and illegally filmed her. He was sentenced to 7 years in prison and 80 hours of education for s*xual assault.

Furthermore, stuntwoman Kim Da-young, a contestant in Physical 100 season 1, was accused by an anonymous person on the Korean online forum Nate Pann. The person accused her of bullying students during her high school days.

Later, Kim Da-young issued an apology letter, confessing that her actions had hurt others, although she denied physically bullying others.
