The South Korean television series Your Honor premiered its fifth episode on ENA at 10 pm KST on August 26, 2024. It is a crime thriller and revenge drama adapted from the Israeli television series Kvodo.
Your Honor follows the story of Song Pan-ho (Son Hyun-joo), an honest judge who attempts to cover up his son's involvement in the murder of a criminal gang leader, Kim Kang-heon's (Kim Myung-min) son, igniting the gang leader's quest for retribution.
The series sees the two fathers transform into morally compromised individuals driven by their love for their children. Kim Kang-heon, a ruthless crime boss and Chairman of Woo One, is currently serving a two-year prison sentence for assault but remains a devoted father.

Song Pan-ho is a respected judge and dedicated single parent to Song Ho-young (Kim Do-hoon), a gifted student at Seoul University. Your Honor also features Heo Nam-jun as Kim Sang-hyuk, the eldest child of Kim Kang-heon, who shares his father's ruthless nature. Your Honor episode 5 recap: Prosecutor Kang So-yeong takes charge
The fifth episode of Your Honor opens with a flashback to nine years ago when Kang-heon gets a phone call, reaches a karaoke place, and discovers that Sang-hyuk has killed four people because they have been talking badly about Kang-heon, calling him a hypocrite.
In the next scene of Your Honor, the drama returns to the present when Pan-ho, kneeling in front of Kang-heon, kills Tee Rab. After that, Kang-heon sits down to talk with him. However, when he does not reply, Kang-heon slaps him, asking him to get his act together.
Pan-ho tells him that it will not be easy to prove Sang-hyuk not guilty as there is evidence against him. Kang-heon replies by saying that killing him, however, will be easy, so he asks Pan-ho to do what he has promised and leaves. Kang-heon's men take care of Tee Rab's body.
Pan-ho drives away and cries out, sitting in his car before calling Chae-rim to meet him. Kang-heon asks his men to investigate Chae-rim and follow Pan-ho 24×7. He also asks him to manage Sang-hyuk's prison so he won't be uncomfortable. Chae-rim comes to meet Pan-ho and talks about his wife's death. She talks about how the law hasn't done justice to her death.
Pan-ho asks about Cheong-gang, Sang-taek's son. Chae-rim tells him she has hidden him and will not let him go anywhere until the case goes to court. He asks to meet Sang-hyuk, which surprises Chae-rim. However, they see Sang-hyuk, and Pan-ho looks at him being interrogated from a window.
Later in this episode of Your Honor, Chae-rim calls Pan-ho and informs him about handing Sang-hyuk to prosecutor Kang So-yeong. However, she hasn't received Sang-hyuk's statement and wants to find physical evidence.
The next morning, after Ho-young goes to university, Pan-ho calls Kang-heon's secretary to arrange a meeting. But he tells him to look outside, making Pan-ho realize they are watching him.
Pan-ho goes to Kang-heon to tell him about the information he has so far about Sang-hyuk's case, such as a video, a witness, the gun he has killed with, and the prosecutor of the case who is unaffected by authorities and connections and suggests to shake up the evidence.
Kang-heon berates Pan-ho, saying it looks like he did not sleep for a moment last night. He asks if the reason behind that is that he has killed someone, even though it is not his first time, or he is scared to think he won't be able to get out of this.
Meanwhile, in the episode, a boy comes to the police station to report Sang-taek's murder. The police take him to Sang-hyuk, but the boy discards him as the killer. Chae-rim quickly doubts what is going on and asks him who sent him.
Next, the police soon catch up with the person who sold Jo Bin a gun. Kang-heon meets Boodu Gang and asks to meet Jo Bin later in the episode. Chae-rim, on the other hand, is told by the police chief that her disciplinary measures are going to start soon, and so she is to lay low until then.
She refuses to do that, as her team discovers Jo Bin's house. However, they find Jo Bin hanging from a tree branch, dead. Later in the episode, she goes to get drinks with Pan-ho and tells him that it is her fault that Jo Bin is dead. She informs him that she will hand over the case to the prosecutor the next day.
While going back, she calls for a driver to get her home as she is drunk. Pan-ho, getting a look at the driver, feels suspicious and asks her to call him when she reaches home. However, even until the next afternoon, she did not call, and her phone remained unavailable. Sensing something, Pan-ho went to the police station but could not find her there.
With a teammate of Chae-rim, he went to her house. They broke down her door, not hearing any sound, and found the whole house in a mess. Next, in the episode, Pan-ho goes to Kang-heon and accuses him of doing something to Chae-rim. He tells him there are some things he should not do.
However, Kang-heon tells him there is nothing in the world he should not do, and his men beat him up. In the episode, Pan-ho goes to the assemblyman and tells him everything. However, the assemblyman goes to the leader of the Boodu Gang and tells him it is an opportunity to take him into the Blue House.
In the fifth episode of Your Honor, prosecutor Kang So-yeong takes charge of the case. She goes to Kang-heon's house. At that moment, Kang-heon is dining with his wife and daughter and tries to have a light-hearted conversation with his daughter. This makes his wife, Ma Ji-young, think he has forgotten about his son's death. She berates him and goes away from there.
Kang So-yeong tells Kang-heon that she is going to dig up everything from his second son's death to Jo Bin's death. At the time of return, she gets in a cab. The cab driver informs her that someone wants to meet her and takes her to meet Jo Mi-yeon. She tells her she wants to help her catch Kang-heon.
Then, a man goes to the police and informs them that Jo Bin must have been killed, and he knows for what. He tells them who lit a fire at Sang-taek's house. The police, on this statement, caught two people, but they didn't understand Korean and kept talking in an unknown language.
The police chief informs Kang-heon about this arrest. Kang-heon gets photographs of Pan-ho meeting the assemblyman and Kang So-yeong meeting Jo Mi-yeon. The next morning, Kang So-yeong goes to Kang-heon's house and arrests Ma Ji-young for the arson.
Kang-heon's men pick up Pan-ho. Kang-heon asks about Pan-ho's meeting with the assemblyman and its reason. Before Pan-ho replies, he gets a call from his house informing him about Ma Ji-young's arrest in the last scene of this episode.
