With Christmas approaching, Uptv has released a new holiday movie titled 12 Dares of Christmas. Set over the holiday season, the movie follows the story of a schoolteacher who is looking forward to a quiet and peaceful break from her hectic life.
She finds herself suddenly swept into an unexpected adventure when her sister presents her with a 12 Dares of Christmas challenge which she accepts. Things start heating up as she races to prepare for her town's Christmas exchange program with a charming yet opinionated French teacher who is also a part of the program.
12 Dares of Christmas premieres on December 8, 2024, at 7 PM ET. The movie stars Brittany Underwood and Sean Yves Lessard in the lead roles as Elara and Gabriel.

1. Brittany Underwood as Elara
Born on July 6, 1988, in Newark, New Jersey, USA, Brittany Underwood is a Colombian American actor. She is famous as Langston Wilde in ABC's One Life to Live, a role she played for five years. Underwood is also known for her leading role as Loren Tate, the girl next door turned superstar on Nickelodeon's teen drama series Hollywood Heights.
Underwood made her television debut with a role in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2005. She auditioned for the role of Hannah Montana for the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana, but the role was given to Miley Cyrus. She has also played the leading role in the television film Death Clique.
Underwood is also a singer, beginning her musical career in 2012 when she released a single called Flow. Some of her other songs are Pull Me in Again, Black Widow, California Wild, Love Me Now or Let Me Go, Shine, and High Heels High Hopes. Her songs are available on her EP on iTunes and YouTube.

2. Sean Yves Lessard as Gabriel
Sean Yves Lessard was born in Syracuse, New York on March 5, 1988. He has studied at Harvard University's A.R.T. Institute and holds an MFA. Lessard is well known for several roles but his most famous one is Lebron in Syfy's Reginald the Vampire. He has also appeared on Paramount's Wifelike and in Hallmark's Splash of Love.
Yves Lessard joins the cast of the UPtv movie as Gabriel, a charming French teacher who is also associated with the town's Christmas exchange program alongside Elara.
3. Marnie Mahannah as Chelsey
Marnie Mahannah is an actor, writer and producer, best known for her works on So Help Me Todd (2022), Round and Round (2023) and The Good Doctor (2017). Mahannah joins the cast of 12 Dares of Christmas as Chelsey.
4. Tosca Baggoo as Rita
Tosca Baggoo also joins the cast playing Rita. Baggoo has worked in productions like Caught in His Web (2022), Christmas on the Lake (2021) and Supergirl (2015).
5. Eric Pollins as Victor
Actor and producer Eric Pollins, known for his work on Yellowjackets (2021), Virgin River (2019) and Get Shorty (2017), plays the role of Victor in 12 Dares of Christmas.
