3:10 to Yuma is a Western action drama film directed by James Mangold. Produced by Cathy Konrad, the film stars Russell Crowe, Christian Bale, Logan Lerman, and Peter Fonda, among others. The movie is based on the 1953 short story of the same name, written by Elmore Leonard for Dime magazine.

3:10 to Yuma rolled into theatres on August 21, 2007, and garnered mainly favorable reviews from critics. As per IMDB, the film's budget was about $48–55 million, but went on to gross $71 million worldwide at the box office. Rotten Tomatoes has also given the film a rating of 89% and an average of 7.5/10. Metacritic polls gave the film 76/100, while CinemaScore gave the film a "B."

3:10 to Yuma. revolves around a struggling rancher Dan Evans. Set in 1884, Evans attempts to escort the notorious Ben Wade to a train headed for prison. 3:10 to Yuma explores the dynamics between the two as they journey to the town of Contention. The young men are tested with relentless dangers throughout their cumbersome path.

1) Russel Crowe as Ben Wade

Ben Wade, albeit charismatic, is as cunning as it gets. He's also the leader of a gang of criminals in the 1884 Arizona Territory. Soon, things go awry for him as he's captured by rancher Dan Evans.

Russell Crowe is an actor, director, and musician. He boasts several accolades, including an Academy Award and two Golden Globe Awards. He started his career in Australia before making his way to the US. He is widely known for his work in Gladiator (2000) and A Beautiful Mind (2001).

2) Christian Bale as Dan Evans

Bale stars as Dan Evans in 3:10 to Yuma, a Civil War veteran turned one-legged rancher. All he wants to do is take care of his family and restore his honor, and as Wade and Evans journey on, the latter must come face-to-face with not only the external battles but also what's on the inside.

English actor Christian Charles Philip Bale is known to primarily hold the leading position in several films, some of which have also given him accolades. He is the owner of an Academy Award and two Golden Globe Awards. Bale rose to fame at the age of 13 for his work in the 1987 war film Empire of the Sun. More famously, he's known for playing Batman in the Batman trilogy.

3) Logan Lerman as William Evans

Lerman stars as Dan's eldest son, William Evans, a rebellious, wild-spirited teenager. He shares a strained relationship with the other Evans. In 3:10 to Yuma, he pays no heed to his father, following him and Wade on their journey.

Logan Lerman is widely recognized as the talent behind Percy Jackson in the Percy Jackson film series. He has also appeared in The Perks of Being a Wallflower alongside Emma Watson.

4) Dallas Roberts as Grayson Butterfield

Butterfield is an agent of the Southern Pacific Railroad in 3:10 to Yuma. Like Evans, he too has one mission: to transport Ben Wade to his imminent justice. He's the one who enlists Evans to accompany Wade to Contention.

American actor Dallas Roberts is famous for his work in the third season of AMC's The Walking Dead, Unforgettable, and Insatiable. The Texas native has been in the film industry since 1994, and he regularly engages in theatre productions.

5) Ben Foster as Charlie Prince

Charlie Prince is Wade's right-hand man. He's fiercely loyal, and perhaps a tad unhinged. Unlike Evans and Butterfield, his goal is quite the opposite: to set Ben Wade free, even if it means eliminating anyone who comes in his way.

Ben Foster stepped foot in the film industry at the age of 16, beginning with his work on Disney Channel for the show Flash Forward. Since then, he has worked in films like X-Men: The Last Stand and Lone Survivor. He also holds an Independent Spirit Award for his work as Tanner Howard in Hell or High Water (2016).
