Camila Mendes starrer Upgraded earned a lot of praise from rom-com fans after it came out in February 9, 2024. In the movie by Carlson Young, Mendes plays Ana Santos, an ambitious young woman working in the field of art. She believes that impressing her boss will enable her to climb the ranks in her career. When she is invited on a work trip to London, she is excited to prove her worth.
After being upgraded to first class, she meets William (Archie Renaux) who comes from a wealthy background. He wrongly assumes that she is the art director of her company's New York office and she doesn't bother correcting him, which leads to a series of complicated situations. A witty screenplay coupled with sizzling chemistry between the leads makes Upgraded a must-watch.
