Written and directed by Dave Chernin and John Chernin, Incoming is a teen comedy film that follows the footsteps of Superbad, American Pie, and the classic setting of a bunch of high school students going wild for one night at a party.

Produced by Seth Rogen and directed by Gene Stupnitsky, Good Boys is about a trio of sixth-grader boys, who after being invited to a popular party, decide that they want to learn how to kiss, especially as one of them has a crush on a girl.
Starring Jacob Tremblay, Keith Williams, and Brady Noon, this is a coming-of-age film, filled with adventures just like the Incoming. As the three learn the art of kissing, they fall into hilarious adventures like spying on their neighbor with a drone, ditching school, and getting entangled in escapades. A cult classic and critically acclaimed, this 1990 film is directed by Reginald Hudlin and stars Christopher ‘Kid’ Reid and Christopher ‘Play’ Martin, from the hip-hop duo, Kid ‘n Play. The movie is about Peter (Play), who wants to organize an epic high school party. Play’s best friend, Kid, is grounded by his parents but is hell-bent on attending the party. This leads to many humorous problems.
House Party has the same premise as Incoming—a high school party going awry. The movie is filled with comedic gags and has a foot-thumping soundtrack that reached the Billboard 200. The movie is even included in the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress.

An iconic coming-of-age film, written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, based on their own experiences. Starring Jonah Hill and Michael Cera, Superbad was also one of the inspirations behind Incoming. The movie is about two friends, Seth and Evan, who want to hook up before graduating from high school. And they get the perfect opportunity when Seth’s crush invites them to a party.
Determined to have the best time of their lives, the two decide to not only attend but also supply alcohol to this event. This leads to hilarious mayhem, which goes completely out of control. The movie is known for its coarse humor and teenage issues, which is similar to the film, Incoming.

Directed by Olivia Wilde, and starring Beanie Feldstein and Kaitlyn Dever, Booksmart is about two friends who have always been studious. When they learn that their less academically-oriented peers are also going to the same prestigious colleges, the duo decide to break free from their rigid lives and experience unlimited fun before graduating.
Both decide to let loose at a party, which leads to events more wild than they bargained for. Similar to Incoming, this movie’s theme is also about teenagers trying to find acceptance among their peers and breaking free from their dull lifestyles.
6) Fast Times at Ridgemont High - Amazon Video
A fan-favorite, Fast Times at Ridgemont High is a teen-comedy film that stars Sean Penn, Phoebe Cates, and others. Based on a book by Cameron Crowe, the movie is inspired by the events Crowe experienced while being undercover at a school. The film centers around a group of four friends—Stacy, Mark, Linda, and Mike—and their various adventures during a year of high school.
The movie takes place from the perspective of Stacy, who wants to date but gets stuck in a love triangle. Various other plots intersect in the movie like Stacy’s brother wanting to break from his girlfriend. The movie was also an inspiration for Incoming and delves around the same themes of teenage angst presented in a light manner.
7) 21 & Over - Amazon Video
Written and directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, the film is about a trio of friends—Casey, Miller, and Jeff— who decide to have a night of revelry and drinking to celebrate Jeff’s 21st birthday. Even though Jeff has to face a medical interview the next day.
Things soon go downhill and chaos ensues as the three keep falling into multiple tricky situations. Starring Justin Chon, Miles Teller, and Skylar Astin, this comedy film has the same premise of partying and indulgences going wrong like the Incoming.
