The story revolves around a grief-stricken father, Mack (Sam), who is reeling under the loss of his daughter. But then he suddenly receives an unknown note that invites him to a mysterious shack.

Based on Pastor Todd Burpo and Lynn Vincent’s book of the same name, Heaven is for Real, is a successful Christian drama film about a young boy, Colton, who experiences Heaven during his surgery for appendicitis. The boy reveals to his family that he also met his dead relatives, before finally meeting Jesus.

Colton’s father, Todd, grapples with confusion over his son’s testimony but ultimately supports him. Like The Shack, the movie is based on a novel and focuses on the central character’s encounter with the spiritual world. The movie was well-received for its emotional depth.

Now, he must find a way back to Earth, as his body has already been cremated. The movie is adapted from Harry Segall’s play of the same name.

The movie has elements of comedy as Joe decides to re-enter Earth in the body of a millionaire, which leads to hilarious events. The film was well- received and received multiple Oscar nominations. While it has a lighter tone as compared to The Shack, the movie deals with similar fantastical spiritual experiences.

While John’s parents decide to give up on their obsessive efforts to revive John, he miraculously regains consciousness and recovers quickly. The movie is about a pediatrician, Chris (Williams), who has a happy life with his wife and two children. But tragedy strikes when both his children die in a car crash and four years later, Chris also dies.

Unaware of his own death, Chris’ spirit stays stuck on Earth, and when his wife Annie dies by suicide, he decides to save her from predestined hell. The movie revolves around a lot of spiritual experiences like The Shack and similarly deals with the death of one’s children.
