Gruesome, disturbing, intensely unsettling, and horrifyingly brutal are just some of the many adjectives that define the Terrifier franchise. A popular horror slasher, the films revolve around the sadistic and silent killer, Art the Clown, with the very first chapter arriving in 2016, and the latest, Terrifier 3, set to arrive next month as a Christmas slasher.
The upcoming film will take place five years after Terrifier 2. Moreover, this iteration will again follow Sienna Shaw and her younger brother Jonathan, who narrowly escaped during a climactic showdown in the previous film, which also dived into supernatural themes.
The plot will have Art return during Christmas and will explore the psychological aftermath of surviving Art’s previous attacks and the ongoing battle between good and evil. Furthermore, audiences will also find uneasy comfort, with early critical reviews calling the third film the best of the franchise and one that significantly dials up the stakes and horror.
The film will be released theatrically on October 11, 2024.

1) Halloween Kills (2021) - peacock, fubo
The 12th iteration of the Halloween franchise, Halloween Kills revolves around serial killer Michael Myers, feared for his brutal methods of killing. The central plot picks up right after the 2018 movie and follows Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode and her family, although the former is mostly confined to the hospital.
Initially believing that they have killed the killer by trapping him in a burning basement, they get the shock of their lives when he escapes and resumes his unhinged violence.
Similar to Terrifier 3, Halloween Kills adds a notorious killer to the plot, which itself is full of graphic violence and gore.
2) Hatchet (2006) - hoopla, Prime Video

Led by an inexperienced guide, their goal was to explore the swamp before coming across the legend of Victor Crowley, a horribly disfigured man who was accidentally killed by his father with a hatchet.
