Plot summary
When author Andrea Metcalf hints at the potential death of a fan-favorite character in her upcoming novel, her fans protest in response. Feeling dismayed, she heads to her family's farmhouse in Wildwood to finish her novel and spend the holiday season in peace.
There, she runs into her high school crush, Seth, who does artisanal carpentry for a living. Andrea helps Seth rebuild Wildwood in time for Christmas after a fire incident destroyed much of the town. As the two team up to restore the Christmas spirit, they also rekindle their romantic feelings along the way. But Andrea's instinct to walk away once things get serious threatens to tear them apart.
