A True Gentleman is a romantic drama that was released today, September 26, 2024, on Netflix. The movie follows the story of a charming male escort, Saygin who finds his life turned upside down when he realizes that he has started falling in love with a woman called Nehir.

Saygin is a male gigolo for hire who has created a niche for himself. He can offer exactly what each woman who comes to him wants. Be it an ex-boyfriend, a dangerous stranger, or a trusted confidant, Saygin can be anything needed to give the women who come to him the emotional fulfillment they yearn for.

But trouble comes knocking when he ends up falling in love with a girl called Nehir. Her youthfulness and nativity make him realize the futility of his life and job. He begins to question where his happiness lies. His heart is torn between what his job demands of him and what his heart wants and this turmoil propels the story of A True Gentleman forward.

1) Çagatay Ulusoy as Saygin

Çağatay Ulusoy is a celebrated Turkish actor and model who started his acting career with the TV series Adını Feriha Koydum (2011–2012) as Emir Sarrafoğlu. He then went on to star in Medcezir (2013–2015), a remake of the series The O.C., and İçerde another TV series. He also played the lead role in the first Turkish Netflix series The Protector from 2018 to 2020.

Ulusoy has received numerous awards, which include a Golden Butterfly Award, Elle style awards, GQ Man of the Year Turkey, and GQ Middle East Television Star of the Year. He plays the lead role as Saygin, a gigolo in love in Netflix's A True Gentleman.

2) Ebru Sahin as Nehir

Ebru Şahin is a Turkish television actor and model who made her cinematic debut in 2016 with the movie Kan Parası. She made her television debut in 2017 with a supporting role in Savaşçı. Şahin rose to prominence as Reyyan Şadoğlu in the Turkish drama Hercai for which she was awarded a Golden Butterfly Award as Best Actress in 2020. She also had a brief role in the TV show İstanbullu Gelin.

Şahin graduated from Istanbul University with a degree in Sports Sciences, after which she took up acting. She will star as the co-lead in A True Gentleman, in the role of Nehir, a young and naive woman Saygin falls in love with.

3) Şenay Gürler as Serap

Şenay Gürler is a Turkish actress with a rich background in theatre and as a background artist. Best known for the role of Fatos in the TV series Avrupa Yakasi, she received the award for Best Supporting Actress at the 28th SIYAD Awards. She plays the role of Serap, a woman who avails Saygin's services once and develops an attachment to him.
