Ashley Hamilton, who was married to Shannen Doherty in the past, was recently arrested on a charge of misdemeanor brandishing on August 24, 2024. The legal issue happened in Beverly Hills, California as a result of a dispute with a hotel employee following which the actor threatened the latter with a knife.

Notably, the hotel incident happened in the morning hours when Ashley Hamilton was spotted sleeping on the couch in the lobby. Ashley shared his side of the story in another conversation with the outlet, stating that he felt disturbed when the employee approached him. Hamilton added that he never intended to harm anyone.

Furthermore, the 49-year-old had to undergo a test at a medical facility to prove that he was not under the influence. The results were normal and he was eventually released.

On the other hand, Ashley Hamilton told the doctors that he had been battling cancer for some time due to which he is taking oxycodone alongside other medications.

He performed at different venues as a comedian and was later approached for a role in the superhero film Iron Man 3 as Jack Taggert.
