Azrael (2024): Full list of cast 

Samara Weaving's latest horror film, Azrael, is now in theaters. This new horror extravaganza from IFC Films and Shudder features a post-apocalyptic twist; all the characters in the story are entirely mute.

The plot follows the titular character, Azrael, when she is forced against her will to be a human sacrifice to a supernatural force. However, she escapes before being fed to the forest's deadly creatures, kickstarting a game of cat and mouse in which she is hunted down by both her captors and the mysterious monsters.

The movie debuted today, Friday, September 27, 2024, just a few days before we welcome the spooky month of October. Despite being a Shudder production, sci-fi horror is available exclusively in theaters.

1. Samara Weaving as Azrael

Samara Weaving is an Australian actor and model who began her career with the series Out of the Blue (2008). She is also known for playing Indi Walker on the soap opera Home and Away (2009–2013), for which she was nominated for an AACTA Award.

Weaving is best known for her works in the horror genre. She has starred in:

2. Vic Carmen Sonne as Miriam

Victoria "Vic" Carmen Sonne is a Danish actor best known for her roles in the films Winter Brothers (2017), Holiday (2018), and Godland (2022). Born and raised in Copenhagen, she is of Polish, Persian, and Russian descent. She attended the Akademiet For Utæmmet Kreativitet and was also admitted to the Danish National School of Performing Arts at the age of 17, from which she graduated in 2016.

Sonne has also received two Bodil Awards and one Robert Award. She joins the cast of Azrael in the role of Miriam.

3. Nathan Stewart-Jarrett as Kenan

Nathan Lloyd Stewart-Jarrett is a British actor familiar to fans as Curtis Donovan in the E4 series Misfits (2009–2012) and Ian in the Channel 4 series Utopia (2013–2014).
