Currently, there is no trailer available for the movie. Updates about its release will likely be shared through official Bluey channels and Disney platforms.

Regarding the storyline, the film will expand upon the themes the series is recognized for—family dynamics, childhood creativity, and daily escapades—while incorporating fresh components appropriate for a full-length feature. Written and helmed by Joe Brumm, the mind behind Bluey, the film guarantees an engaging experience for families.

In a statement published in the press release on December 17, 2024, Brumm shared:

“I’ve always thought Bluey deserved a theatrical movie. I want this to be an experiential event for the whole family to enjoy together.”

He further highlighted his excitement about working with the teams at BBC Studios and Disney to bring this project to life.

The voice cast of Bluey movie

The movie will feature vocal talent from the hit show, including Melanie Zanetti as Chilli and David McCormack as Bandit. However, the creators continue to keep the identities of the voices behind Bluey and Bingo private to maintain privacy for the kids and keep them safe from unwanted attention.

Melanie Zanetti shared with Kidspot on November 23, 2022:

“All the children on the show are members of the family of people in production. I am so glad that the creatives on the show decided that no one would be in the credits to protect the young cast.”

She added:

“I think that was so clever and I’m so happy that, not knowing how big the show would be, they had the foresight to do it. In the long term, I think that protecting young people is so important in this industry.”

The music will be composed by Joff Bush, who has been a key part of the series’ success.
