Directed by Mitja Okorn, Bokser is the latest movie upcoming on Netflix. Produced by Maciej Kawulski, who most recently created the acclaimed movie How I Fell in Love with a Gangster, the Polish film takes us back in time to communist Poland and follows the journey of a man named Jędrek from the boxing ring to England, where he hopes to make his dreams come true.

Bokser is a period sports drama based on a real-life story. It follows the travails of Jedrzej, an aspiring young boxer who flees communist Poland with his wife, Kasia, to London to realize his dream of becoming the greatest fighter in history.

Struggling to make ends meet and survive as an immigrant, Jedrzej agrees to fight a rigged game that starts him on a dangerous path to success and changes his life’s trajectory, even putting his family at risk.

1.Eryk Kulm as Jedrzej

Eryk Kulm hails from Warsaw, Poland. He is a film, television and theater actor known for his roles in Filip (2022), Aferzysci. Zle psy (2022), and Czarne lusterko (2018). Kulm debuted with a role in the film Pręgi (2004). In 2016, he graduated from the Aleksander Zelwerowicz Theater Academy in Warsaw and immersed himself completely in acting.

Throughout his long acting career, he has won the Zbyszek Cybulski Award (2022) and the Eagle Award for the best leading male role in the film Filip (2022). He also won the Elżbieta Czyżewska Award for best actor at the New York Polish Film Festival. He will play the lead role as the aspiring young boxer from Poland, Jedrzej, in the upcoming Netflix movie.

2. Adrianna Chlebicka as Kasia

Adrianna Chlebicka hails from Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Poland. She is an actor best known for her roles in Squared Love (2021) and Squared Love All Over Again (2023). In the movies, she played the leading role of Moniki. In the upcoming Netflix movie, she stars as Kasia, Jedrzej's wife, who flees with him to start a new life in England.

Chlebicka made her screen debut as an infant in the 1997 series Boża podszewka. From 2012 to 2014, she played the role of Zuza in the series M jak miłość and rose to prominence with her role as Natalia Sokół in the series Kontrola.

3. Eryk Lubos as Czesiek

Eryk Lubos is a renowned Polish actor known for his work in theater and movies. He graduated from the AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in Krakow and made his theater debut in 1996. He has performed in the Teatr Wspolczesny in Wroclaw and TR Warszawa.

Some of Eryk Lubos' notable roles in movies include The Dark House (2009), Moja krew (2009), and Underdog (2019). Lubos is also recognized for his TV roles in Officer (2005) and Ojciec Mateusz (2008). He will star as a character named Czesiek in Bokser.
