Boot Camp (2024): Full list of cast

Boot Camp is a comedy-drama film directed by Mackenzie Munro, that was released in selected theaters in the United States on August 2, 2024. The film is based on a Wattpad novel by Gina Musa.

The cast of Boot Camp mostly comprises young actors, some of whom are making their feature film debut, including the lead actress Rachel Boudwin. Drew Tanner, Rachel Boyd, and Megan Peta Hill have worked on a few extensive projects before. Tanner and Megan Hill were a part of The CW's Riverdale, while Boyd played Isla in He's Not Worth Dying For.

There are a few seasoned actors in the cast as well, including Emmanuelle Chirqui and Ennis Esmer.

Rachel Boudwin is playing the role of Whitney Carmichael, a teenage girl who blames her rough school life experiences on her body. She joins an intense summer boot camp to lose some weight and become attractive. In the camp, she falls for a hunky trainer named Axel.

Rachel Boudwin is making her feature film debut with Boot Camp. She has previously worked in two short films, The Sister's Seance and Legally Brown.

2) Drew Ray Tanner as Axel

Drew Ray Tanner plays Axel, the trainer that Whitney falls for. The Canadian actor has been part of teen projects previously, as he played Fangs Fogarty on Riverdale, a show based on the Archie comics.

Tanner has also been a part of projects like Work It, Legends of Tomorrow, You Me Her, and Power Rangers.

3) Emmanuelle Chriqui as Cindy

The Canadian actress with Morrocan-Jewish heritage had been appearing in guest roles since the early 90s. She rose to fame through her role as Sloan McQuewick on HBO's Entourage and films like Wrong Turn and 100 Girls before that. Since then, she has been working continuously in popular films and television series.

She appeared in Adam Sandler's 2008 satirical comedy You Don't Mess With Zohan in the lead role. After that, she worked on projects like The Mentalist, Superman and Lois, and Die In a Gunfight. In Boot Camp, she is playing the role of Cindy, an instructor.

The young actress is playing the role of Willow, Whitney's schoolmate and rival. From the trailer, it looks like Willow is the lead antagonist of the film who makes Whitney feel bad about herself and pushes her to take drastic steps toward improvement.

Rachel Boyd is making her mark with this film on the silver screen with a major role. Earlier she has been part of projects like He's Not Worth Dying For, Grand Army, The Silence, and Shazam!

5) Ennis Esmer as Bob

Ennis Esmer, who played Gord Enver in NBC's Blindspot, is playing the character of Bob in Boot Camp. From the trailer, it looks like Bob is part of the camp as an instructor of some kind.

Ennis is a Canadian actor of Turkish descent and has been working in front of the camera for the last 21 years. He is known for playing characters in Red Oaks, Schitt's Creek, Children Ruin Everything, and Sight Unseen among several others.
