What to expect from the film based on its trailer?

As previously stated, Vertical released a full-length trailer for Catching Dust on July 26, 2024, on YouTube. The short trailer focuses on the film's four pivotal characters, Geena, Clyde, Andy, and Amaya. While Geena and Clyde reside in a trailer in a secluded spot in Texas, their lives are suddenly shaken by the arrival of a couple, Amaya and Andy.

As Geena secures permission from her husband regarding the new couple's stay, their circumstances get messed up as all of them get enmeshed in a web of lies and deceit.

The trailer hints that the stress surrounding the characters of the film is not entirely emotional but also physical, exemplified by the several instances of neck-grabbing, cursing, banging hands on tables, and ramming doors.

At the end of the trailer, after being subjected to several montages of the characters holding knives and rifles, the audiences get to hear a loud thumping noise, typically from a rifle or a bomb. So does the film involve the death of a character, or is it a false alarm? Audiences can find the truth behind it only after the release of the film.

Catching Dust is written and directed by Stuart Gatt. It is produced by Stuart Gatt, Mark David, Jon Katz, and Edward R. Pressman, and co-produced by Angelica Huéte.
