Christmas with the Singhs is a Hallmark Christmas movie directed by Panta Mosleh, which is all set to make its release on November 15, 2024, at 8 pm EST. The script was collaboratively written by Emily Ting and Patricia Issac, and the story revolves around the theme of intercultural differences and what it takes to become a family.

Christmas with the Singhs revolves around Asha Singh, who wishes for some Christmas miracle while working in the hospital during the holiday season. Her miracle arrives in the form of Jake O'Brien, an ex-high school mate who suddenly appears in her life and starts making a strong presence.

A year goes by, the couple gets engaged, and they plan to get their families together. But when the families meet, they realize there are several untied knots they must bind before they can make it to the big wedding day. 1) Anuja Joshi as Asha Singh

Born in Virginia, Anuja Joshi is an actress as well as a singer and dancer. She is the daughter of the popular Indian child actor, Master Alankar Joshi. Spanning across Mumbai, India, New York City, and Los Angeles, she acted in both English and Hindi movies and TV shows.

Some of her major works include Broken But Beautiful (2019), Hello Mini (2019), The Resident (2021), and Fantasy Island (2021). In the movie, Joshi plays the role of Asha Singh, a medical professional who finds herself unable to take off during the holidays because of work. Asha comes from an Indian family and falls in love with her high school classmate, who comes from a different cultural background.

2) Benjamin Hollingsworth as Jake O'Brien

Coming from Brockville, Ontario, Canada, Benjamin Hollingsworth graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada. Some of his best-known screen credits involve The Joneses (2009), Code Black (2015), Cold Pursuit (2019), and Virgin River (2019). He has appeared in recent TV movies, including An Easter Bloom (2024) and A Whitewater Romance (2024).

In Hallmark's Christmas with the Singhs, Hollingsworth plays the role of Jack O'Brien, who meets Asha years after graduating from high school. They eventually fall in love, and after one year of dating each other, Jake proposes to Asha. The two plan to meet Asha's Indian family, but Jake is unaware of the troubles waiting for him.

Born in Nairobi, Kenya, Nimet Kanji moved to Vancouver, Canada, in 1998, where she pursued her career in acting. Kanji is best known for her work in Scary Movie 4 (2006) and The Good Doctor (2017). She had recently appeared in a bunch of TV movies and series, including Resident Alien (2022), Family Law (2022), The Midnight Club (2022), Pipe Nation (2023), Puppy Love (2023), and Under the Bridge (2024).

Nimet Kanji plays the role of Nirmala in Christmas with the Singhs. From the preview of the film, it could be understood that Nirmala is the mother of Asha.
