Clint Eastwood's Juror No. 2: Release date, plot, cast, and everything we know so far 

Warner Bros. and legendary filmmaker and actor Clint Eastwood have joined forces to create Juror No. 2. A thriller drama, the movie will focus on a juror who is called in for a murder trial, and realizes that it was his mistake that led to the murder in the first place.

Starring Nicholas Hoult, Toni Collette, Zoey Deutch, Leslie Bibb, Chris Messina, J. K. Simmons, and Kiefer Sutherland, Juror No. 2 will make its debut at the AFI Film Festival on October 27, later this year, according to Deadline. The movie will then undergo a theatrical release across America on November 1, 2024. Eastwood has taken on the directorial duties, while the script has been written by Jonathan Abrams.

According to Deadline, Production for Juror No. 2 began back in June 2023, although only a limited amount of information about the movie has been revealed as of now.

Clint Eastwood's Juror No. 2 set for late 2024 release

A legendary actor regarded as one of the best ever seen in the industry, Clint Eastwood has also directed over 30 movies. Eastwood made his Hollywood debut back in 1955 via Revenge of the Creature and went on to become a bonafide Western icon. He directed his first movie in the form of 1971’s Play Misty for Me, and has since then helmed multiple superhits.

This includes recent projects such as The Mule, Cry Macho, and Richard Jewell. The actor/director announced back in April 2023 that Juror No. 2 will be his next movie. Set to debut on the closing night of the AFI Film Festival, Juror No. 2 will effectively play on Sunday, October 27, 2024. This will be followed by a limited theatrical release.

The AFI Film Festival runs from October 23-27, and will be held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in LA. Following a limited theatrical release, the movie will then be expanded to wider audiences.

Juror No. 2 will focus on the character of Justin Kemp, who will be portrayed by Nicholas Hoult. A family man, Kemp will be seen taking on juror duties for a landmark murder trial. However, he will then realize the moral dilemma at play. Kemp realizes that he is privy to information that directly ties in with the case, and soon understands that it was his mistake that led to the murder in the first place.

The information directly ties in with the accused, and can heavily influence the jury’s decision. Kemp, therefore, has a major decision to take, as he can either stay mum, or inform the jury about his peculiar position. The movie, as one can expect, will deal with themes related to justice, morality, and ethical responsibility.

Boasting of a story penned by Jonathan Abrams, Juror No. 2 is set to expose complicated legal procedures and the delicate nature of the truth. The movie, in addition to Nicholas Hoult, boasts of multiple other stars. Some of the cast members have been listed below:
