Descendants is an American fantasy movie directed by Kenny Ortega. The movie released on July 31, 2015, and gained popularity among fans. It has four sequels starting with Decedents, Decedents 2 released on July 21, 2017, Decedents 3 on August 2, 2019, and the most recently released Descendant: The Rise of Red on July 12, 2024.
The film follows the Villian Kids led by Mal to steal the wand of Fairy Godmother. They plan to steal the wand to set their parents free and start by getting themselves into Auradon with the help of Prince Ben. Even after all the planning they didn’t steal the wand and chose to be good rather than evil like their parents.

1) Dove Cameron as Mal
Dove Cameron played the role of Mal in Descendants. Mal is the daughter of the evil fairy godmother Maleficent and Hades. She was sent to Auradon by her mother to steal the wand of the fairy godmother but fell in love with Prince Ben and chose goodness over evil.
