Diddy rose to fame in the 90s and carved a niche for himself in the world of hip-hop. However, several lawsuits have been filed over the years accusing him of s*xual assault, harassment, and child abuse, among other things. In 2024, the Department of Homeland Security raided his properties, and later that year, he was arrested and denied bail.

Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy offers viewers a firsthand account of people who were close to Diddy or a part of his everyday life as they speak out about his arrest. The documentary reveals several lesser-known aspects of Diddy's life. The official synopsis of the 90-minute documentary by Peacock reads:

In November 2023, Diddy's ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit against him on charges of r*pe, physical abuse, and s*x trafficking. Even though the matter was settled quietly between them by the next day, this lawsuit paved the way for several similar allegations against him.

In September 2024, Diddy was arrested on the grounds of racketeering, s*x trafficking, and transportation for purposes of pr*stitution. He has denied all charges and is currently in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He has been denied bail, and his trial is set to begin on May 5, 2025.
