Apple TV+'s new movie Wolfs released on September 27, 2024, on the platform. Starring actors Brad Pitt and George Clooney in the lead cast, the plot of the film revolves around two lone fixers who are brought together on the same mission.

They get involved with District Attorney Margaret during the course of the crime, where she believes she killed someone named Kid by accident.

The ending of the film featured the fixers Jack (Clooney) and Nick (Pitt) facing a shootout and promising to exchange more information about themselves, if they survive. However, it is indicated that they were possibly alive even after the credits rolled since the film is likely setting up for a sequel. A further indication of that is the mid-credits scene in the film.

The mid-credits scene of Wolfs replayed the events with DA Margaret and Kid and shows when things went wrong during their one-night stand. Under the influence of drugs, Kid fell off the bed and onto a glass table which shattered, making Margaret believe she had killed him.

It was then that the fixers were called into the picture. Then, it is revealed that the mid-credits scene is actually playing through the camera footage that the fixers forgot to erase.

The scene indicates that someone intends to use the footage against Margaret and the fixers in the possible sequel. Since Margaret is a District Attorney, her involvement in a drug case would be fatal for her reputation and position.

On the other hand, the fixers will also end up in a sticky situation if the authorities get to know about their "business". The scene sets up an interesting storyline for the potential sequel to Wolfs.

What is Wolfs about? Plot summary explored

At the beginning of the movie, a distressed Margaret calls a discreet fixer named Jack to help her cover up the supposed killing of a dead man in her hotel room. When Jack arrives at the hotel, the owner of the establishment, Pam puts her own fixer on the scene, thus involving Nick.

Jack and Nick investigate and find a bag of drugs at the scene of the crime after they send Margaret away with an alibi. In between their discussion and confusion about how to proceed, they discover that Kid is actually alive. They take Kid to a medical specialist named June, after which he escapes them briefly. They manage to catch Kid after a chase around the city.

After questioning Kid, Jack and Nick realize that he is transporting drugs for a kingpin named Lagrange. While trying to figure out where the drugs were dropped off, the fixers come across a shady figure called the Croatian, revealed to be a man named Dimitri. This leads to a shootout, and they barely manage to escape with Kid.

Towards the end of the film, at a diner, Jack and Nick sit together and try to piece out the confusing and chaotic events of the day. Soon, they realize that they are not meant to fix the crime at all, they are meant to die trying. Outside, the two of them see gunmen coming toward the diner and get ready to shoot their way out.
