Family Pack is a French survival fantasy movie based on Asmodee's card game The Werewolves of Millers Hollow. Directed by François Uzan, the movie premiered exclusively on Netflix on October 23, 2024. Written by Hervé Marly and Philippe des Pallières, Family Pack tells the story of a family mysteriously pulled into a magical board game.

The movie begins with a chaotic family gathering, where all the members come together at Grandpa Gilbert's house. Jérôme finds an ancient board game in his father's attic and decides to start it. This leads to an unexpected turn of events, transporting all the people in the house to a dark medieval village.

The residents of Millers Hollow are haunted by werewolves at night. The werewolves are disguised as ordinary human beings among them. In order to make a return to their home, the family must come together, use their unique powers, and fight the beasts before they hunt them down.

The cast of Family Pack is led by prominent French actors including Jean Reno, Suzanne Clément, Franck Dubosc, Grégory Fitoussi, and Bruno Gouery. With the background score provided by Guillaume Roussel, the movie is produced by Radar Films.

1) Jean Reno as Gilbert

In Family Pack, Jean Reno plays the role of Grandpa Gilbert. He is the father of Jerome and the entire family arrives at his house, for a family gathering. Gilbert is an old man who is suffering from dementia and often forgets the names of his kids and grandkids.

Reno is a French actor whose works have spanned American, English, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese films. Some of his major works include Léon (1994), Posetioci (1993), Wasabi (2001), The Big Blue (1988), Ronin (1998), 22 Bullets (2010), The Pink Panther (2006), The Crimson Rovers (2000), and Wasabi (2001).

2) Franck Dubosc as Jérôme

Jérôme is the son of Gilbert, who is the first person to insist the family members play the Werewolves game. Despite their unwillingness, the family agrees to start the game, which initiates the magical spell. Upon being transported to the dark ages, he receives the magical power of the seer, who can read other's thoughts.

Dubosc is a French actor and stand-up comedian. Some of his popular recent works include Rolling to You (2018), Rumba Therapy (2022), Barbecue (2014), Fiston (2014), 10 Days with Dad (2020), and Cat & Doh (2024).

3) Suzanne Clément as Marie

In Family Pack, Marie is the second wife of Jérôme, with whom she has a daughter named Louise. Besides, Marie also has a son named Théo from her previous marriage. She is an aspiring influencer, who finds it quite difficult to be shifting to a time where no one knows her.

Suzanne is a Canadian actress who is known for her trilogy collaboration with filmmaker Xavier Dolan. They include I Killed My Mother (2009), Laurence Anyways (2012), and Mommy (2014). Some of her other screen credits include The Child Remains (2017), Raoul Taburin (2018), Nothing to Hide (2018), The Origin of Evil (2022), and Longing (2024).

4) Bruno Gouery as Piero

While on their hunt to search for their werewolves, the family meets Piero played by Bruno Gouery. Piero is an Italian artist and scientist, whose character can feel slightly eccentric. He helps the family survive the medieval stereotypical traditions (including public executions) and aids them on their journey toward finding and surviving the werewolves.

Gouery is a French actor and author who rose to prominence for his role as Luc in Emily in Paris. Some of his other notable works include Losing It (2019), A Friendly Tale (2020), Fratè (2022), and Zénithal (2024).
