Fast and Furious 11 is finally happening and may even have a release date. Over the past year and this year, Vin Diesel has been very vocal about the step-by-step progress of the upcoming movie on his social media.
While promoting Fast X, Diesel hinted at the possibility of an eleventh film in the franchise while also giving away the estimated date of release, when he uploaded a photo on Instagram with his co-star Jason Momoa and wrote in the caption,
"April 4th 2025… is less than 22 months away. I love how expressive and collaborative all of the actors in our franchise feel coming into the World’s Saga. Jason wanted to try something totally unique and special and ended up creating a scene stealing character that the world won’t forget. "

In some of his other posts, he gave away the title of the upcoming movie. In a post dated June 16, 2024, Diesel uploaded a fan art photograph of a car while referring to the upcoming film as Fast X Part 2.

When will Fast and Furious 11 come out?
Based on Vin Diesel's previous Instagram posts, Fast and Furious 11 is to be released on April 4, 2025. His recent Instagram updates show that filming for the movie is already in progress, and he has been keeping his followers updated on the process.
On May 17, 2024, he posted a video from the set of the movie, giving a glimpse of the cars featured in the Fast and Furious franchise over the years.

What will be the premise of Fast and Furious 11?
The premise of Fast and Furious 11 is currently being kept under wraps. However, based on the events in the previous movie, certain deductions can be made.
In the last moments of Fast X, a plane carrying Roman, Han, Tej, and Ramsey was shot down by Aimes, who was secretly working for Dante Reyes. The movie ends with the fate of the characters hanging by a thread.
If Fast and Furious 11 follows the same pattern as its predecessors, it may open with the revelation of what happened to these characters. Michelle Rodriguez hinted at something similar during a Variety interview back on May 12, 2023, when she spoke about the future of the Fast and Furious franchise. Speaking on what could be the plot for Fast and Furious 11, she said,
"It is not really an ending, but it’s also like, ‘You can’t do this to us. We’re your die-hard fans, you can’t do this to us! You’re going to feel so cheated in a way, but then so gratified and excited about what’s to come. I can’t divulge more than that, but get ready for a shocker. After 23 years of shooting these things, it’s really tough at this stage to shock me, and they got me good.”
