Final Destination: Bloodlines will finally see the franchise back on the big screen after 14 years of hiatus. Warner Bros. has set a release date of May 16, 2025. This new part of the series will continue the deadly twists and shocking kills with a new take on larger-scale storytelling in the IMAX format. Bloodlines is the creation of Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein.

The film, written by Lori Evans Taylor and Guy Busick, has made significant buzz because of its cast and the potential return of veteran franchise man Tony Todd. Unfortunately, Todd passed away in November 2024, so he is not officially on the confirmed list of the cast but still rouses much speculation about his possible appearance in the movie.

Release Date and IMAX Experience

Warner Bros. has confirmed that Final Destination: Bloodlines will hit theaters on May 16, 2025. The movie will be available in IMAX and will provide viewers with a more immersive horror experience. The franchise that started in 2000 has produced five installments, with the last one being Final Destination 5. That movie, made on a $40 million budget, made $158 million worldwide, which proves the series is still very much alive.
