M. Night Shyamalan's Glass, released on January 18, 2019, lived up to his fans' expectations through the continuation of his trend of blending unique storytelling with several shock factors and surprising endings. The film which was the third and final installment in the Unbreakable series, resulted in the deaths of not one, not two, but three characters- David, Kevin, and Elijah.
All three characters who were killed at the end of Glass were instrumental in driving the trilogy's narrative forward as each one of them played a central part in the two movies leading up to the third one. While Bruce Willis' David Dunn and Samuel L. Jackson's Elijah Price/Mr. Glass were the central characters in the first movie(Unbreakable), James McAvoy's Kevin Wendell Crumb was the central character in the second one(Split).

Kevin and David die in the end of Glass
In a climactic fashion, both Kevin and David died at the end of Glass, putting an end to a saga revolving around humans with superhero traits.
In the movie, Samuel L. Jackson's Elijah Price devises a plan to get both Kevin and David in one place to test out their powers against one another and to create a spectacle of the same in front of a larger audience.
Things go exactly as he had planned as both David and Kevin try to fight off each other in one of the biggest fight sequences in the trilogy. However, the result of the fight was not exactly what he had anticipated.
Towards the end of the film, following their brawl, both Kevin and David manage to calm down, with a little help from their close ones. However, that ends in futility as both of them meet their demise following an intrusion from a third party.
While Kevin was violently shot at by an unidentified person leading to his death, David was drowned in water, leading to his ultimate demise.
Elijah also gets killed in Glass
As previously stated, in an unfortunate turn of events none of the central characters in the Unbreakable trilogy survive in the movie's last installment. Surprisingly enough, Elijah, who was directly responsible for creating bad blood between Kevin and David was one of the first ones to be fatally injured, leading to his eventual demise.
After Elijah leads Kevin and David to fight, Joseph, David's son, reveals that Kevin and David have a shared history. Kevin's father died on the same train from which David escaped unharmed after a fatal crash. Elijah previously admitted to causing the crash, which had a significant impact on both of the protagonists' lives.
Kevin's alternate superhuman personality, The Beast, is unable to bear the knowledge about the same and crushes Elijah's bones, killing him in the process.
Dr. Staple is one of the bad guys in Glass
Sarah Paulson's Dr. Ellie Staple is a psychiatrist who "treats" people who believe they have superhuman abilities. However, as the story progresses it is revealed that people like Kevin, David, and Elijah are indeed individuals with super-powered brains who are capable of doing unimaginable things.
It is also revealed that Dr. Staple's intentions are not as well-meaning as it seemed, as she had been one of the bad guys throughout the movie. This revelation is only made towards the end of the movie when Staple arrives donning a "clover" tattoo resembling the tattoo of the person who drowned David in water.
As is revealed later, Staple is part of a gang who are tasked with gaslighting people with superhuman abilities into believing that they are normal people and thereby eradicating them from the face of the earth.
Glass is available for viewing on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV Plus, Sling TV, Fandango at Home, YouTube, YouTube TV, and Google Play Movies.
