“He definitely fit the vibe”— Netizens go crazy over this fan-favorite cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine

Deadpool & Wolverine hit theaters on July 26, 2024, and it has since taken the world by storm. From great audience response to absolutely smashing the box office, the film seems to have taken over the world. While the film itself has been beloved by fans, many can't help but geek out over the various cameos that the film has to offer as well.

One of the biggest cameos in Deadpool & Wolverine was the debut of Henry Cavill in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. When hopping through the multiverse in search of Wolverine, Deadpool comes across a Wolverine variant played by Henry Cavill. Over the years, Cavill has been a huge fan cast as the character, and netizens have been going crazy over his appearance in the film.

While Cavill only appears for a brief scene, he knocks Wade out of his universe. However, that minute of screen time was enough to cause a huge impact. Many were excited to see how the actor perfectly fit the vibe. One user on X posted:

"Can I be honest? Hugh Jackman will always be Wolverine for me but Henry Cavill absolutely ATE his 5 seconds on the screen," said another user.

Other users also took note of how Henry Cavill was the only other actor to portray Wolverine after Hugh Jackman and a young Troye Sivan who starred in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. One user said:

However, this short cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine was enough for people to want Henry Cavill to be the Marvel Cinematic Universe's version of Wolverine. One user said:

Deadpool & Wolverine's cameos explored

Deadpool & Wolverine is a film that totally focuses on fanfare. It is filled to the brim with cameos that will definitely service the fans. One of the earliest moments in the film sees Deadpool hop through the multiverse in order to find a Wolverine for his universe. There, he comes across a Wolverine who was set to fight the Hulk. He also comes across Henry Cavill's Wolverine and many others there.

However, the main cameos of the film come in the second half. When he makes it to the void with Wolverine, he meets the likes of Chris Evans' Human Torch, Wesley Snipes' Blade, Jennifer Garner's Elektra, Dafne Keen's X-23, and Channing Tatum's Gambit. The ending of the film sees Matthew McConaughey play Cowboy Deadpool while Blake Lively stars as Lady Deadpool as well.

The film directed by Shawn Levy, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, sees Deadpool and Wolverine team up to fight Cassandra Nova as the fates of their universes linger on by a thread.
